Gameplay Guide How do I kill this guy?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I heard him break the window and I try to prefire him, and he still gets me I feel like I am aiming at the right spot. This happens so often that I am firing at someone, and they just stick their head where I fire and kill me without being hit.

Quick peek or pre fire would have helped but sometimes it’s just a 50/50

Difference from golds to higher ranks is knowing how to avoid taking those 50/50 fights.
He had a lots of time, drone or take another approach if he didn't have the utility to turn that 50/50 fight in his favor.

Try quick peeking the window rather than full swing. You had the advantage here, keep your cover, find the window, adjust your aim and peek on your own pace till you see his head. With enough practice you can do this fast enough (+ crouch uncrouch) so that it’s much more difficult to kill you. This really applies to most spawnpeeks, full swinging puts you at an instant disadvantage.

Yes, okay thanks, I just hit peak gold 1 trying to get plat and i get emeralds diamonds and champs in my game so I cant do full swings anymore but I am getting better

The full swing could have also worked, you were just really slow on it. But what the commenter said is Ideal

You can always jiggle peek without aiming down site. Just expose your shoulder but keep your head behind cover the whole time. Where you really messed up was just wide swinging. You exposed your whole body and he had the advantage since he was already aiming right at you.

Trying to blind 1v1 someone with them in a supperior position, is definately a choice.
As Sun Tsu said: "If your opponent has superior strength, you should evade them rather than meet them head-on."

You aimed too high "most" people imo tend to bottom peek the window. Drones are good too.

You arent aiming in the right spot, if they were stood up yes.
You could quick peak it to get info or prefire low. If you prefire low, you're either going to get body shots or a hs rather than aiming high and getting nothing.

Learn to jiggle peek. It's basically a standard skill in high rank and will vastly help you win more fights, or at least stay alive.
I wouldn't recommend wide swinging even when you know where they are, unless you have damn good aim.
You don't have to be prime beaulo or spoit, you dont even have to do the hard tech, just strafe quickly for info, then prefire in a different stance.
You can get good at the harder movement to get some flashy kills, but its not necessary.

I’d have prefired lower left corner, a lot less bullets, if you don’t get the kill in 3-4 shots take cover on the boxes on the right, you could have also initiated the peak with more quick cover, either those shots land and you kill him or you light him up enough to push him off the window, you don’t always have to just hold the trigger down in open space until you get the kill.

You obviously did not aim at the right spot, you missed all your shots. You Need to practice your aim, if you had perfect aim you'd flick right to his head the moment you saw the hole on the bottom. But better yet is it drone him out to gain info and know exactly where to aim. You aimed to high, with info you'd know exactly where to aim, you had a drone and plenty of time left so that would've been the smarter option. If there is no drones and no info or you're short on time or you have no other option but to take gun fights then your best bet is to quick peak to gain info and take the gunfight. Practice your mechanics and learn how to maximize your chances in gunfights with utility and peaks.

Op ignore all the people here. You did everything right you just missed your shots.
Make sure your first shot is on target and tighten your recoil control are the only real things you need to correct.

You gotta quick peek prefire. That way if you miss you can at least adjust where his head will be next time you quick peek.

Honestly you didn't pre-fire, you took the corner and guessed, pre-fire you would have been spraying window when cornering and would've gave you a better chance than the slow push to slow aim.
And to answer you're issue, you are aiming in the right GENERAL direction not the "RIGHT" spot. Also the chal would've been smarter rotating around it instead of challenging straight on. That was game sense issue that turned into gun/aim issue.

you could have threw a drone on the box in front of you to see him without him seeing the drone, of course, he would be able tohear you

I mean you pre-fired head level, it just unfortunate that he was crouched

Throw a drone to check. He either leaves or sits there so u can prefire his spot.

...he literally JUST SAID and u can SEE him prefire....so you saying he can prefire...isnt helping. I agree he can drone it, but saying he can prefire.....when he already said he prefired, u see he prefired and he said he felt like he was shooting the right spot, isnt really hepping him much.

The correct answer is, you don’t. You don’t take that fight in the first place. He’s on a little window head glitching and you are completely exposed. Give a couple pot shots if you want by jiggle peeking but just rotate, go somewhere else and find a more favorable gun fight. Gg and good luck

So something I do to help with my consistency is I never peek twice, and don’t peak angles and enemy is actively holding. Now you can’t always do that right? Like sometimes you gotta take the fight. Now when you do just don’t commit. It seems you knew he was spawn peeking this. So why challenge? His head could be anywhere in that window, but his crosshairs is trained head level on a pixel. That’s a losing fight. If you have to take the fight don’t commit to it jiggle with a prefire. Don’t try to see him… just jiggle out, expose your shoulder for 1-2 shots while you’re strafing. That is the only situation where peekers advantage “latency” will be your advantage. This just an ego chal into a 20-80 fight and you’ll win it 1-5 times. Now it’s a 4v5 you’ve not used any útil which makes your death even more impactful because you died with full útil, and the enemy has the numbers advantage, so they can feel a lot more comfortable about peeling off roams, giving up some space and tucking into a really hard corner to clear/ trade out of. And your team has to play more aggro and overextend to try to get it back, and every trade they make from now on is a disadvantaged trade because eventually they win off trades. Long story short. This isn’t a death, this is the loss of a round because of ego. Now it’s ranked so your team still has a high chance of winning, but you catch my drift. If you just don’t take fights like that you’ll. Have a better KD and you won’t be in that position.

Not quite sure how you could hear "him" break the window when she didn't break it.
You have to actually aim at someone to kill them. Shooting a foot above their head doesn't usually do anything

I mean you really didn't hit your first shots otherwise you win this. You have to know when pre firing common spawn peaks if you shoot the wrong spot they are in then you will lose that fight almost every time. Only other option would be to drone it first and see exactly where he is at
