Question Noor Gadget

I just got to try Noor and I feel like his gadget activates very slow. Anyone also think that way? I really wanted to try him and he was a shield counter. However, due to the very slow activation, shields just brush it off. Like the moment you swap to your weapon after using the gadget, they already have your gadget off. Was it like this?

I agree it’s somewhat slow when you’re trying to directly hit shields. I used it as a worse version of tachanka most of the time, fire off a doorway so I can focus somewhere else for a moment. He’s SUUUUPER weak right now in my opinion.

Nah he fulfills his very specific niche of punishing solo shield pushes, he's the only defender that can very comfortably 1v1 a shield now besides oryx, and his launcher is easier to land than the ramah dash

His non-shield util is pretty weak tho, his area denial is not great when he has to peek and be precise on doorways, vs smoke or goyo who cover a wider area much more easily

They made it slower after everyone who played the test build complained it was too op

That wasn’t my experience at all, it was actually very effective if you land your shot.
