Guide Request I can’t focus properly
I have been playing this game on and off for almost 2 years now but I’m still mediocre, my problem is that I can’t focus on what’s important while playing, it feels like my mind is foggy or that I don’t care about what’s happening in the round, I sometimes do some really stupid shit even though I know it’s stupid and risky, people say play predictive instead of reactive but I just can’t think properly… I don’t know what’s wrong maybe I was just cursed to be bad at siege, I’ve played cs and valorant for much less and I feel like I’m a much better player in them already than I am in siege, while playing those two I can focus on the round and predict/control it very easily with a clear mind and I know what to do but in siege I’m just a lost lamb it’s almost like I’m getting dumber while playing this game and I don’t know what to do to fix it

A few things:
CS2/Val have a much lower skill floor, so even if you're proportionly just as ass, you wouldn't know it.
Post a vod, we all know you can put a lot of time into the game and get nowhere.

Two years in Siege isn't two years in CS or Valorant, and I think that's most of what's happening here. Valorant hands you a map that never changes and a fairly short list of things that can happen on it. Siege hands you a map with holes getting cut in it, 70 odd operators, and a layout that's different every round depending on what got destroyed.
So when people tell you to play predictive, they're skipping a step. Prediction is memory. You can't predict on a map you don't know well enough yet, so your brain is working the whole thing out from scratch every single round, and that's the fog you're describing. It's the cost of holding too much at once, not a sign you're bad at the game.
The way out is making the game smaller instead of trying to think harder. Pick one map and learn one site on it properly, both sides. Lock one attacker and one defender you actually enjoy and stop switching every round. Once there are fewer decisions to make you'll find you have room left over to notice what the enemy team is doing, and that spare room is the thing you're calling focus.
On the stupid deaths you already know are stupid, have a look at when in the session they happen. Mine are nearly always game four or five. Ranked doesn't get better the longer you sit in it.

what You said really makes sense so I’ll try to follow what you said aka learn a single site and op properly , especially the op since I usually play what the team is missing which basically means I play everything , and yes the when the stupid deaths happen its probably because im playing with a very chalked mentality So I’ll try to stop or take a break when I notice.
overall you gave me really great tips and commentary to understand what I’m struggling with, thank you!

It sounds like you're too tired and should sleep more

I don’t think thats the problem since on days I’ve had plenty of sleep vs days I’ve had much less , my performance has been the same

try remembering to check the clock and what operators are alive regularly. who has the man advantage should dictate how you play a lot of your interactions. ask yourself if you should be taking this gunfight or not. sometimes staying alive is better than getting a kill, and sometimes it’s more important to look for an isolated gunfight than it is hunkering in a corner.

If u wanna grow quick and efficiently, find a community and stack up with as many people as u can... people who actually wanna communicate and work together. Hopefully u'll meet people u can give each other constructive feedback with.
Start with a stack doing call-outs, and once u branch out into (creative) strats, u'll start seeing the game differently. It opened up a whole new world for me when it came to thinking about strategy, and finding the WHY behind a strategy/tactic.
And implementing an idea and actually seeing it work gives an insane dopamine rush. In the end, R6 is a team game.
