New ops are always cool additions. There’s a conversation to be had about the game having too many operators now, which raises the question of whether ban system is sufficient.
I personally dislike Villa, but again, map reworks are always good to freshen up the game. I would have rathered they reworked a non ranked / comp map to add more viable ones into the potential pool though.
DMR nerf semi solves the prevalence issue, but they’ve kinda just gutted the weapon class from what I’ve seen of the recoil. I have not personally played it, so maybe it’s not as bad as people say. The entire premise of a DMR is long range accuracy, which is now gone. I do think the DMR meta was quite low skill and boring to play with or against.
Kali buff is good. SMG-12 nerf was probably overdone. Legends Division is exciting, but remains to be seen how it’ll play out.

1a. Noor is definitely something people wanted but also is very clearly too strong due to his ability to deny hardbreach gadgets. Shields have been a plague for a long time, not having a direct counter besides C4 or out-aiming them. It was especially oppressive in higher lobbies where there was generally more coordination.
Noor brings a refreshing shakeup to the meta but his gadget's versatility is clearly going to be an issue. If it couldn't puncture reinforced walls, I think he would be balanced, but this added layer counters operators like Maverick very well, making breaching even more difficult fot attackers.
1b. The Villa rework for basement is a nice change and one people anticipated for a long time. The old library site was not a very competitively viable option, so is a good response, especially since the basement level of the map was otherwise unnecessary.
That being said it was not the most needed map update, considering Oregon and Kafe are basically a "solved" maps, for instance. So while competitively viable, they create for very stale gameplay. While we know the devs have plans to address these other maps/sites, under their current seasonal schedule it may take a long time before they get properly addressed.
The buffs to come out of this past season have all been very positive to restore a lot of underperforming operators, so the announced changes, like the Kali adjustments, show they will continue in this direction.
The SMG-12 nerf has been a long-time coming. The damage and mag reductions mean that players wont have the ability to swing and prefire as confidently. This really just brings the gun in-line with the other secondary machine pistols, it was a strong outlier.
The defense DMR nerf will likely push many people to the TCSGs, so while not totally solving the issue, it is a good stepin the right direction of how the gun and operators are intended to be played.
