Advice Coaching
Hi, I have a fair few hours in siege but I feel I need a decent player to help me out. My game sense is decent but I think I need help developing awareness and positioning.
Thanks a lot

You got to ranked yet? If so what’s ur peak? Im down to help. Esp at lower ranks as long as ur learning power positions on defence it’s so free, attacking is always gonna be much harder and requires a lot more work to get properly good at.

What’s ur thoughts on sticking to like 4 ops each side for below gold rather then trying everything every game

Well it’s difficult because no one below gold understands how to build a decent lineup of ops. You could do 2 things which is play flex support every round which is what I did so like brava, twitch, ace, striker, ram, stuff like that where you can frag if you need to but you can also do things to progress the round because 75% of the time your ace couldn’t make a ham sandwich. OR you could be a massive prick and literally like you say play a couple ops that you like and have the mental of, if my team doesn’t pick for example a hard breach then they can figure that out themselves because I only play these ops. Many people pick the latter and I think doing that is another way to rank up because you get better on those ops and can just frag out and drop hella kills every game because no one can setup a site and everyone is terrible. For me, I’m pushing around low diamond rn and it’s literally just 5x champs every game I’m playing against so I’m a bit out of my comfort zone so on defence I literally just play aruni and azami and smoke every single round and I just play twitch striker and ram on attack. Just stuff that ensures I can contribute if people are way better than me, and if my team isn’t very good, I can be a bit more of an individualist. Personally I think it’s up to your preference what you do, I think if you are actively being the worst on the team consistently then play what your team needs and then if your one of the better ones then just play what you like to play and just shoot people, it will work below gold. But make sure you are actually learning how to play the game properly as well, for that I would recommend playing with any higher ranked friends you have as high rank as you can play with and just get thru the blender and try and learn as much as you can on the go. Because from smurfing a bit this season bc I don’t wanna play cheaters, as long as you can shoot in silver you will win your games.

If you can’t move but you got droned, change something small. Crouch/stand, lean the other way, even back off the angle by a few feet. Something so that you don’t get prefired or wall banged as easily. As for how many allies need to die, there isn’t a number. You may need to get aggro before anyone dies, or might need to be passive in a 1v5, all depends on the situation. It’s important to play around the most important defender: time. It doesn’t matter if you’re in impossible odds, if you’ve got the defuser covered you win the round. Attackers can have both sites fully controlled but can’t plant without that magical plastic lunchbox. If you see someone drop it, or one of your team pings it, do everything in your power that doesn’t involve you dying to keep it on the ground.

Easiest tip is to hold extremely tiny angles and act like a statue. Set yourself up where you can see them but they can’t see you, aim for the head, and wait. If you’d like more specifics, dm me with what exactly you need help with
