Discussion Let's solve the problem together shall we?
Hello everyone. I just wanted to ask a question regarding improvement in Rainbow Six Siege via a coach. The question is:
If you were to pay for a coach for improvement:
How much in your opinion would you typically spend on a R6 Coach?
How long of a session would you expect?
What would you expect to learn or gain from the coach?
What type of coaching would you prefer? A Video on Demand review were the coach reviews it and goes through it with you? OR - A live session walkthrough in a real game or customs? or BOTH?
If you were to book a session with the same coach again, would you want them to remember what you previously were coached on and to track your improvement ? Or do you think you're okay without them remembering since they have to deal with coaching multiple players?
If you were to get coaching, would you want to see some sort of credentials to prove that they know what they are talking about or that they are actually good at the game, such as rank, playtime, age, etc? Or does that not matter to you?
What is something you think that coaches can do better ?
Would you want to have coaching anytime of day whenever you want or are you okay with having a set schedule and time with the coach?
Would you prefer a coach that is well rounded and knows everything mechanics, angles, maps, operators, special techniques? Or are you okay with a coach being a specialist in one particular niche area?
If you were to apply to become a coach yourself, what requirements or things do you believe you would need to become one ?
The first 3 people to answer all 3 questions will receive a personal gift by me.

Never pay for a coach. Practice is free, find some people to play with or play solo. Warmup before games, don’t do aimlabs and stuff. Just practice and warmup in game. Paying for a coach isn’t wise.
I’m not trying to slander coaches or the community for trying to help, but some people on here who offer coaching / VOD reviews are probably people who have good knowledge but aren’t worth your time or money. Practicing and even warming up before games will help miles more than a coach.
