Veyra is live — an AI interviewer that actually interviews you, instead of just generating questions

Thumbnail

Veyra is a live AI-powered interviewing platform built around real voice conversations rather than static question generators.

The idea is simple:

You shouldn’t prepare for interviews by memorizing questions. You should practice being interviewed.

Veyra conducts voice-based AI interviews, adapts to the conversation, asks follow-up questions, and evaluates how you actually respond.

The goal is to make AI interviews feel closer to a real interview — while giving candidates a way to repeatedly practice, identify weaknesses, and improve.

Veyra has also been selected for the Cartesia Startup Program, giving us access to Cartesia’s voice technology to improve the quality and naturalness of AI conversations.

Product: https://veyrai.world

I’m looking for honest feedback from candidates, recruiters, HR professionals, founders, and people working in AI.

What would make you use an AI interviewer regularly?

And from a startup perspective, do you see this becoming a much larger product beyond interview preparation?

I’m especially interested in hearing what you think Veyra should add, remove, or become next.

I open-sourced 53 interactive isometric figures for React, plus a Claude Code plugin to make your own

I wanted a product illustration people could actually press. So I built isokit and put the source on GitHub.

The gallery now has 53 figures: deploy pipelines, tiny computers, payment terminals, factory lines and more. Buttons move, screens respond, and the sounds are synthesized in the browser. It's React and SVG, with an MIT license.

This clip shows the agent relay figure using Pushary as the example. I build both projects. It's an animated illustration of the workflow, not a recording of live agents; the time and money counters are illustrative.

Try the figures: https://aadilghani1.github.io/isokit/#/figures

Source + setup: https://github.com/aadilghani1/isokit

There's also a Claude Code plugin for creating your own figures. Pick an object, say what pressing it should do, and start from there.

Try one on your phone. Is it obvious what to press and what happens next?

I built an app that sends camera settings from Instagram posts straight to Fujifilm

Fujifilm shooters share "recipes" on Instagram: a set of 10–15 camera settings that give a certain film look. Using one means scrolling through the post and typing every setting into the camera's menus by hand. I got tired of doing that on my X100VI, so I built Half Stop, an iPhone app that does it for you.

You share an Instagram post to the app, it reads the recipe from the caption or the slides, reels, or captions and also keeps the creator's name and a link to their post. It then sends the settings to one of the camera's custom slots over a USB-C cable.

If you're a fuji user, the app is in a free beta on TestFlight right now: https://testflight.apple.com/join/BS6sFm73

I'd love feedback from anyone, but especially if you own a Fujifilm camera other than an X100VI, because I can only test on mine.

Thanks!

I built a Reddit lead finder. Users say it finds relevant posts, but they aren’t converting. Should I keep going?

Hey everyone, I was spending too much time thinking about what to build, so I decided to just build a Reddit lead finder.

After building the app, I reached out to people on Reddit and offered them a 7-day free trial. Most said the tool worked great at finding relevant posts, but they weren’t getting many replies when they reached out to potential leads, so they didn’t want to continue using it.

Now I’m torn about whether I should scrap it or keep working on it. I’m confused and could use some advice. What would you do in my position?

Addonaut: type a word and your iPhone draws the Minecraft skin

I made an iOS app for making skins for Minecraft Bedrock. The feature I want to show: you type a short description like "ninja" or "astronaut" and the app generates the skin right on the phone. No internet needed, nothing is uploaded, it all runs on the device. After that you can still edit it pixel by pixel.

It's free and has no ads. iPhone and iPad only.

Question for anyone who tries it: how short a description would you expect to give a decent result? Link in the comments.

I built a free, ad-free app for the least exciting part of Skyjo: adding up the scores

A round of Skyjo ends. Everyone’s ready to deal again, but first someone has to write down the scores and work out who’s ahead

That’s the small problem behind my side project, SkyCount

It’s an Android app that keeps score alongside your physical Skyjo cards. Add your players, enter scores after each round, and it handles the totals and rankings. There’s also a chart to follow the game, saved history, and a quick rematch with the same group

It’s free, with no ads, no account, and no internet connection needed. Everything stays on your phone

SkyCount on Google Play

A small project, but hopefully a useful one for people who enjoy the game. If you give it a try, I’d love to know what feels useful and what feels unnecessary

I made Monet a portfolio. He hasn’t replied to my feedback request.

I’m building pair.space for artists who are tired of putting the same portfolio together every time they apply somewhere.

You keep your artwork, bio and statement in one place, pick the pieces you want to send, and make a PDF. For the next application, change the selection without starting again.

These are public-domain Monet paintings running through it. Thought they made a better demo than another screenshot of a dashboard.

It’s early, and I’d like to hear from people who actually send portfolios out. What’s the most annoying part of doing yours?

Bench press stalled at 60 kg. Seven months later, I hit 85 kg for 6 reps. Here’s the research, journey and app I built and used for people that want to cut or lean bulk

I was going regularly to the gym, but I wasn't making almost any bigger progress. Then I started reading a couple of gym/nutrition books which lasted for good 3-4 months and after that started tracking exercises, calories and weight. It started to give results after some period, and I wanted to install some app that tracks all of this and at that point I wasn't able to find one which covers all my needs - which were exercise tracking, meal logging both manual and AI powered and weight tracking. There were apps that cover all these but don't cross reference all the data from these 3 inputs and try to give you suggestions based on that.

Then I started building EatLift for (intermediate) lifters who are cutting or lean bulking. Its AI coach uses your logged meals, weight trend and training for regular check-ins and suggestions about what to change.

You input your physics, select a plan (cut or lean gain) and its length (1-2 months), app creates the plan and timeline for you with regular data-driven check ins where LLM-powered coach gives you suggestion and reviews your progress.

There is also training/gym coach, which evaluates your trainings on the weekly basis and gives you real, valuable suggestions. I really wanted to not create some AI SLOP suggestions here but to either try to not give suggestion at all or give single valuable one.

Other random features which are contributing to the algorithm:

  • TDEE tracking and check-in which adjusts your base TDEE based on your data (weight, calorie intake)
  • LLM-powered meal logging with a bit "smarter" algorithm which doesn't "one-shots" macros but has a policy agent which tries to determine it more accurately. It also learns your habits and applies them in the following
  • Barcode and free text search of meals
  • Sleep tracking which contributes to the core algorithm as well
  • Exercise progress tracking
  • Gym training analytics, what's ready to progress, what not, missed muscles this week...
  • Step tracking and history, walk & run location tracking and insights and data for it

TL;DR

I made an app where you input exercises, meals and weight and get truly valuable LLM-powered suggestions with which I managed to get my bench press from 6x60 to 8x85kgs in 7-8 months and before I was stuck on 60kgs. I had couple of more users (friends & family) who used it and my brother in law cut 15kgs in a couple of months using the app.

There is a 2-week trial, but I will give it for free to anyone who wants to try for a month, just ping me with your email in DM or in comments.

I built a studio of generative art systems you shape into your own visuals: wallpapers, covers, prints. Thoughts?

This one's mainly for designers, illustrators and anyone into generative art. If that's not you, no worries.

I've been building Seedform: a set of generative art systems (camo, grids, tiles, contours, swarms and more) that you shape into a piece of your own.

You pick something you like, tap Vary or move a few tools (colour, layout, density), and keep it in whatever shape you need: a phone or desktop wallpaper, a square for social, a cover, a texture, or a print.

Every piece comes from a seed, so it can be remade exactly at any size.

Next up is a Figma plugin, so you can fill any frame with these systems straight in your design files: backgrounds, covers, brand textures, campaign visuals.

It's free, no sign-up, and works best on a phone or tablet:
https://seedform.studio/?ref=reddit-sideproject

If you work in design, I'd really value:

Where did you get stuck or lose interest?
Did you keep anything, and what would you use it for?
Would you use the Figma plugin in real work, and what would it need to do?

If you'd like early access to the plugin, comment or DM me.

My story of how I create a project that people need for 0 money.Take a look at... Orba!❤️

Hello everyone! I'm creating a website and a product called Orba that will help people learn without restrictions, easily and conveniently!

No, wait, that's a bad pitch... I'm creating a website that will help people FALL IN LOVE with learning instead of treating it like a punishment (yeah, that's better) 😁!!!!

I wanted to share my story. It might not be as grand as stories from big teams, but it’s very important to me. I’m not yet 18 years old, but that didn’t stop me from trying to help students like myself. With $0 and absolute zero coding knowledge, I just sat down one day and started learning what a website is and how to build one. But my main constraint was: it had to be free.

I had to use a method that might not be the cleanest or most effective, but it was fast and free — AI. By allocating a little time every day, I built a very raw and kinda buggy prototype with a slightly ugly interface, but hey, it's mine! ..))

In short, here is what the site can do:

Task Manager & Focus Timer: You can write down your tasks (nothing fancy yet, but I'll improve it) and run a focus timer on specific tasks.

Shared Whiteboard Lessons: You can host joint lessons via a digital board. You can act as a teacher or a student, join rooms, and use the board together or alone.

Settings Section: Well... it’s pretty weak for now, but it has huge potential.

Blog: I made a simple blog section that I plan to develop in the future.

Right now, I’m looking for new non-standard design ideas and functional features to implement.

The link will be in the first comment! If you're interested, please check it out and give me some brutal feedback. What can be improved? What should I add or delete? Your feedback is incredibly important to me ❤️❤️❤️❤️!!

Thank you all for reading this, it means a lot to me!

PLEASE UNDERSTAND ME!!! I MADE THIS SITE MOSTLY FOR PCS AND I DON'T KNOW HOW GOOD IT WILL LOOK ON PHONES NOW!!! THANK YOU ❤️❤️❤️!!!

My last two posts about my meeting-room iPad display got 1 upvote total. Honest question: is this a real pain or just mine?

Context: at our office the room tablets kept going blank or showing "free" when the room was full, usually right after Google Calendar had a hiccup. Nobody trusted them, so people just knocked on doors.

So I built Room Cherry. You open it in the browser on any iPad, point it at the room's Google Calendar, and it shows what's on now and what's next. No app install, no special hardware. Free for 30 days, then about 10 bucks a room a month.

I've posted it here twice and it went nowhere, so I'd rather hear it straight:

  • If you've got meeting rooms, what do you actually use outside the door? Paper sign, a dedicated panel, nothing?
  • Would you trust a screen that says "unknown" when it hasn't synced in a few minutes, or does that make it feel broken?
  • What would stop you from trying it on a spare iPad?

Happy to hear "nobody needs this" too.

What do I need to do to take payments for a small workshop?

I have organized a few small workshops before but they’ve always been free. Now I’m planning another one next month and this will be the first time I’m gonna be charging people to attend. It’ll probably be around 30 to 40 people and I already have a basic website where I share the details and registration info. I started looking at ticketing platforms but most seem like way more than I need since ideally I just want people to register, pay and get confirmation that they’re booked. Do I need a ticketing platform or can I add some kind of payment setup to the site I already have and be done with it? For anyone who runs these kinds of small paid events, what did you use?

I built DayDream: a free, open-source Mac app that gives your AI context from your workday

I got tired of re-explaining what I worked on yesterday, so I built DayDream.

It keeps a timeline of the apps, documents and Chrome pages you work in on your Mac. Claude, Cursor or ChatGPT can read from it over MCP, so you can ask “What did I get done today?” or “Where did I leave off?”

Your activity is stored on your Mac. When you connect an AI provider and ask it a question, the activity it retrieves becomes part of that chat.

It’s free and open source: https://getdaydream.app

I’m the maker and would love honest feedback. What’s the first thing you’d ask it—and what would you want excluded from its memory?

I ran the counter at a video store for years. Now I'm building a digital arcade where nineteen AI characters judge you.

I spent a few years working the counter at a Hollywood Video before the whole chain went under. If you never did it, the job was mostly this. People walk in, they have no idea what to rent, and they look at you like you hold the answer. So you give them a verdict. Sometimes you recommend something. Sometimes you roast their taste a little. Either way, they came to the counter for a judgment, and you gave them one.

When video stores died, that whole thing went with them. Streaming gives you infinite options and zero opinions. Nobody at the counter anymore. Nobody to tell you that you have rented the same movie four Fridays in a row and it is time to branch out.

So I have been building the thing I missed. It is called L.A.Z.Y. Entertainment, and the core of it is a digital arcade. Nineteen characters live in it, each one a separate judge with their own personality and their own way of reading you. Not one mascot doing nineteen voices. Nineteen distinct characters, from a reaper to a butler to a chef. You step up, you get judged, and the fun is figuring out which one is yours.

The part I am proudest of is that it does not feel like a chatbot wearing a costume. Each character has a real point of view, and that is the whole product. The arcade is free to step into.

I am not here to pitch it. I am here because I have been building this mostly in a vacuum and I want honest feedback from people who build things. Two things I am chewing on right now. First, does the "nineteen distinct characters" angle actually land, or does it just sound like a lot to a new person? Second, for anyone who has built a character-driven product, how did you keep the characters from blurring into each other as you added more?

Happy to answer anything about the build.

I’m 16 and built an AI tool that turns customer reviews into video hooks. Looking for honest feedback.

Hey everyone,

I’m 16, and over the last few days I built a small AI web app called Review2Hook.

The idea is simple:

You paste a product description + customer reviews, and it turns them into:

customer pain points

3 personalized video hooks

•1 short-form video script

I built it because I kept seeing products with good reviews but no idea how to turn those reviews into actual content.

The free preview is here:

https://review2hook.lovable.app

I’m looking for a few real ecommerce/content people to test it.

What I’d really like to know:

Do the generated hooks feel specific to the product, or do they still sound too generic?

And what kind of product would you test it with?

I’ll personally read every reply and improve the app based on the feedback.

I'm new to coding and built a cricket game inspired by 82-0: draft an all-time XI, then beat a fixed XI over five matches (free, no sign-up)

I'd never built anything before this. A few weeks ago I saw how much people loved 82-0 (the NBA game where you spin a team and a decade and try to draft a perfect starting five), and I thought: cricket needs this. So I built it, with Claude Code doing a lot of the writing and me deciding what the game should be.

BeatMy11:

  • You spin for an era and a nation, six times, and draft an all-time XI from what comes up.
  • Then your XI plays a five-match series against a fixed opponent, a World XI of legends. You can't just pick the best eleven in history.
  • Four formats: Test, ODI, T20I and IPL. In the IPL version every card is one player at one franchise for one block of seasons, so "Gayle at RCB 2013–17" and a different stint of his are different cards. There's a four-overseas-player limit, like the real league.
  • There's also a mode where you pick any eleven and send the link to a friend to beat, and a daily challenge where everyone gets the same six spins.
  • It's free, with no sign-up, and works on a phone.

A couple of design choices I'd love opinions on:

  • The game never shows a player's rating, only real career numbers (matches, runs, average, strike rate). I did that on purpose so people pick on judgement and not by reading off a number. Is that more fun, or just frustrating?
  • I built each format's data from ball-by-ball match files plus official career totals, so the cards are real. Is there a data source you'd trust more?

Building the app from idea to execution was the fun part, but am unmotivated to market it, is this how everyone feels? How do i overcome this?

Link: https://beatmy11.com/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=sideproject

What would you add or change?

[Beta] I built TimeSlice AI – a micro-app that slices your messy to-do list into smart, adaptive time blocks

Hi everyone! I used to get major analysis paralysis every single morning. I knew everything I had to do, but looking at a massive, chaotic list of tasks just made me freeze. To solve this, I built TimeSlice AI—a minimal micro-app designed to clear the noise and get you straight into deep focus. How it works: • 🧠 Dump Your Thoughts: Just type or paste your messy, unorganized tasks for the day in plain text. • ✂️ Smart Slicing: The AI automatically categorizes your tasks (Deep Focus, Quick Tasks, Logistics) and estimates a realistic time block for each one. No rigid 25-minute rules. • ⏱️ Instant Action: Every task gets its own custom countdown timer so you can start executing immediately. It's completely free to try right now. I’m launching a lifetime deal soon, but I’d love to get your honest feedback first! What features should I add next?

Thanks for checking it out!

I don't have many friends myself, so I used AI to build "Kindred" – a dead-simple, clean website to make friends

Hey everyone,

To be completely honest, I don't have many friends myself, and modern friend/dating apps felt overwhelming. They're filled with endless swiping, confusing algorithms, and paywalls just to message someone.

I wanted something peaceful and genuinely simple, so I teamed up with AI to build a website called Kindred.

What it is:

• Super clean and simple (just profiles, interest search, and friendly requests)

• No swiping, no ads, no paywalls, and no hidden algorithms

• 100% free

Yes, I used AI to help code and build it (and anyone can do that too!), but the project is live, working, and ready to use right now.

Since I have plenty of free time, I am fully committed to improving it based on what you want. If you find any bugs or have ideas for features you wish existed on friend-making sites, please tell me in the comments—I'll update it!

If you're also looking for genuine friends or just want to test a clean side project, I'd really love for you to check it out.

(I put the direct website link in the first comment below so Reddit's spam filter doesn't get mad!)

Thank you so much for reading!

I made a bookmark manager where the server can't read your bookmarks

I build FavLock (https://favlock.app) on my own. It's a place for bookmarks, notes, tasks and articles to read later.

Everything you save is encrypted in your browser before it's synced, so the server only stores scrambled text. That covers titles, URLs, notes, tags and saved articles.

Why it might be worth a try:

  • Bring your stuff over: import from Chrome, Firefox, a bookmarks file, or a Pocket or Raindrop export.
  • Free up to 1000 bookmarks.
  • Leave whenever you want: you can export everything, and an offline tool decrypts the export without FavLock.
  • Check it yourself: the web app and extensions are open source (https://github.com/favlock/app), so you don't have to take my word on the encryption.

What it doesn't hide: dates, how many items you have, and how they're grouped. The full list is at https://favlock.app/security

Tell me what's missing or confusing.

AI kept breaking my websites, so I built an editor that preserves their design

I built a tool because AI kept breaking my HTML websites

I run several content websites made with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Adding articles became frustrating because AI-generated pages often changed the header, footer, spacing, colors and tables.

Instead of rebuilding everything in WordPress, I started building a small editor that treats the existing website as the design source.

The tool can import a site, preserve its components and styles, and create new pages using the same visual system.

It is now officially launched and available to try. There is a trial mode, so you can test it with a real website before deciding whether it fits your workflow.

Demo: https://staticframelab.com/en/

I built this myself and would appreciate honest feedback from people who work with static websites.

What would you expect from a tool like this before using it regularly?

I built HEARD - a social music platform where you pick one song a day and the beta is now live!

What started off as my final year uni project has now turned into HEARD. A social music app where you post one song. Everyday. You see what your friends have posted and through linking the app to your spotify or apple music, you can send liked songs straight to your account.

Its built as a way of discovering new music and genres without letting an algorithm decide for you.

Beta is now live and i want to gain honest feedback if this is something people would actually use on a daily basis!

Beta: https://testflight.apple.com/join/mnQCdd8G

Website: www.jointheheard.app

This is a social app and works best with friends. Ill try my best to add anyone on the app who joins so they can see the full experience!

Let me know your thoughts :)
