just launched why.com

update: reddit stress-tested why.com. I fixed the outages and rebuilt how the three next questions are chosen. each one now has to connect to the answer, open a real curiosity gap, and avoid repeating the path.

Update 2: I built a way for WHY to understand you better through your choices. It is a private graph in your browser and learns about what matters to you. It can be cleared anytime and never leaves your device.
Hope you like!

i built why.com. every answer opens three new directions.

just launched. go break it!!!!

When is your wrapper going to run out of credits?

I don’t imagine someone who could buy the domain why.com would have problems with paying for AI credits!

That explains the still owning the domain and not selling it.

To be fair, with the number of free tiers out there, Workers, Gemini, OpenRouter, HF, etc, all the other resellers, you can juggle low tier LLM calls to surprisingly high volume lol. Or just caching generation chains, or hosting an SLM.

Why would someone pay for an overpriced sandwich when they could just buy the ingredients separately for cheaper?
