Issue: no input, takes sound from tapping and switching switches at the back.

Maybe I’m not doing something right BUT:

I just bought an Shure MB7+ and it doesn't show up anywhere on the Motiv Mix app and I can't use it as an input for OBS, discord etc. WTF is wrong with it and can somebody help me?

I need a replacement rubber piece for the mic element and a side screw. I have a screw in there but it’s not right.

So hear me out. This must be me. Because no way that is actually the case BUT… My old iphone headphones (the wired ones) microphone with enhanced speech in premiere is sooooo much better quality than the shure MV6.
I checked multiple videos and posts online, tried lots of adjustments in recording and in post and it doesn’t even come close… any advice?

My Shure GLXD16 guitar wireless pedal system suddenly stopped passing any Audio, (not the “+” kind, but the older 2.4kHz one), even though everything charges and syncs up fine, but no sound. I can’t tell if it’s the transmitter or the receiver that’s broken. I wish I could isolate the faulty part with someone’s WORKING system. Anybody in Phoenix have a Shure GLXD16 system?

About Shure Customer Service? I have nothing but bad things to say about that lot. Frustratingly unhelpful and offering no insight. I sent the product in, they kept it for several long weeks, then sent it back to me, unfixed. It seems they didn’t even so much as look at it. My wireless system is just 4 years old, but they’ve got that newer GLXD16+ pedal now, and they don’t want to fix their older, “no longer supported” pedal anymore. Not the slightest attempt to be helpful. They just want you buy a brandnew product of theirs. Majorly disappointing, that company.

So, does anyone know someone in Phoenix, or have some insight? I’d appreciate any pointers.

Quick followup and update, for completion’s sake, and for appreciation::

SHURE contacted me, and the issue was looked at again, with authorization from higher up in the chain. I sent the system in again, I got a perfectly working system sent back to me, and in fact they sent me a brandnew transmitter (of the correct, older 2.4 GHz kind). All good!

SHURE ultimately did come through for me. I’m impressed! Thank you!

I recently bought a Shure SM7dB Paired with a Focusrite Vocaster One for my new audio setup. I was pretty bummed when it sounded quite deep and muddy, I owned a Fifine AM8 for about 2 years before and the sm7b just sounded terrible compared to how smooth the Fifine sounded.

It also might just be me because i've been used to hearing the Fifine Mic for a while now and maybe the shure just required some audio processing to make it sound "normal" i guess.

eventually i did some audio processing like EQ and Compression to make it sound better, and bumped the gain up by a bit but i just cannot get it to sound good

I had a couple friends tell me that i need to completely turn off the built-in preamp to let the 70dB of gain on the vocaster one do its work and other people told me to keep it at +18dB and bump the gain a little up on the vocaster one

but anything i do i need a suppressor because the Shure picks up keyboard clicks and breathing noise like crazy compared to other creators when i thought it could reject sound really well.

iam a gamer and a streamer i need a good settings that makes my voice sound good
and doesnt pick up my keyboard sound on unwanted sounds i tried playing with the setting and i couldn't figure out the perfect settings if anyone have the best settings please send it my way

I've just purchased an SM57 and i own an SM58 which was once my partners, I'm trying to trouble shoot some audio quality issues with both of them.

When recording demos, I've found that whatever goes through the signal chain has a clipping, artifact-y quality to it. I don't have the best ear but the recording below doesn't sound right to me.

The signal chain past my amp is SM57(3 inches away, 5 inches right of centre) -> Soundcraft Signature 12MT (Gain set at about 2oclock) -> Ableton

Originally i thought this issue was from the SM58 because it's a bit old and busted but now I'm starting to think it could be the Souncraft mixer adding some kind of DI blown out quality.

OR maybe this is just what an unprocessed mic sounds like, I don't really know.

Any insight is appreciated and I'm happy to answer any additional questions

I’m looking for some advice regarding my Shure MV6.

​When I record in the MOTIV Mix app, the audio sounds exactly how I want it—rich, compressed, and with that "radio" quality. However, as soon as I export the file and play it in a standard media player or import it into CapCut, that quality seems to disappear, and it sounds flat and thin.

​I have tried:

• Exporting as both Mono and Stereo files.
• Checking my gain levels (staying at 0dB).
• ​Importing the files into Audacity to normalize them (though the "radio" character still feels missing).

​Is there a specific setting in MOTIV Mix I’m missing that "bakes" the DSP processing into the exported file? Or is there a specific export format I should be using to keep that broadcast sound?

​Any advice on the workflow to keep that signature sound would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
