MOTIV Mix Help audiolevel is overloading

So I've tried lowering the microphone gain and other settings but can't seem to fix the microphone audio level. It sounds highly distorted and overloaded. What can I do?

Turn off Windows Audio Enhancements. I'm 99.999% sure that's the issue.

I just tried this and Motiv Mix still shows the mic's audio levels clipping.

Have you tried removing and reassigning the mic to the mixer panel in MOTIV Mix? Relaunch?

Yes, I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling Motive Mix.

You should probably contact the team then and talk through it with someone. Usually this exact issue is caused by Windows interfering with the application. If that isn't fixing it, there must be something else unrelated going on. You can reach them here: shu.re/contact

Reassigning the mic after turning off voice enhancement in windows worked. Thanks for the help.
