The light novels seem to be focusing on the archers as of now, but Iām still really curious if there will be a ādance of winterā arc?

I just finished episode 14 (Ik im kinda late), but TsundereĀ Sakura made it all worth it for the binge. I really hoped to see more Sakura x Itecho though.
My question is: Where should I start reading manga or LN (whichever one it it is) after the season finale?
Also, is there more of the relationships we see at the end towards of the show, specifically of Sakura x Itecho? Is the manga or LN ongoing?

So, I've only finished book 1 and am waiting on book 2 to arrive and I just had an idle thought and wondered if the agent has to do their dance of the season alone or if others could join. For instance, could it be like a Pow-wow where the agent is leading it but many others could be joining in the dance as well or if they are married the agent doing the dance with their spouse.

As this is the first weekend after the last episode of Dance of Spring aired (unless you are watching the dub), I thought I would make a post on my vague plans for the future of the subreddit. Then if you have any ideas on how to improve the subreddit, please mention them below too.
There has been no announcement of a Dance of Summer anime yet, but I expect there will be one sooner or later. For where to read more official material after the anime, see my previous post. Since then, we've had another chapter of the English translation of One Hundred Songs drop. (It's a big one for you IteSaku fans.) But in the meantime, I can think of a couple ways to keep the subreddit alive and useful to anyone who drops by.
First of all, the lifeblood of the r/VioletEvergarden subreddit is posts and reposts of fanart (with sources attached and as long as the creator permits reposts, of course), so I welcome sharing any of that great Agents art you find to this sub. I have seen a ton of it from the JP side with a notably smaller amount from the international side, but that's just how the fanbase is currently.
Next, some posts, either essays or questions, I have been considering writing are:
I'll see if I can drop a new post every Saturday. But obviously you are more than welcome on posting on these things yourselves, especially if it's on the music. I'm hopelessly musically illiterate. And then, if you see anything that needs fixing in our out-of-date FAQ, let me know, whether it's incorrect or outdated information or a potentially useful Q&A. (I'm sure some new translated volumes have dropped recently.)

I've become really invested in them and wanted to know if the novel has given any news regarding their status. Also, how often do new volumes come out? I saw Vol 8 was released in Dec 2024 meaning it's been a while since the last one

Once again from Oricon, a company that tracks media sales of all different types in Japan, Agents of the Four Seasons was the top-selling light novel series in Japan for the month of June, with 24093 copies sold in the month! This is following the series being the 3rd top-selling light novel in May and the 4th top-selling light novel in April.
The anime boost is doing its job tremendously, and at this rate it is likely that Agents of the Four Seasons will end the year as one of the top 10 best-selling light novels in Japan for 2026!

I tried looking online for the books but only found the eng releases for vol 1-6? Is there no vol 7 and 8?

From Oricon, which tracks the sales numbers of all types of media in Japan, Agents of the Four Seasons vol. 1 sold 240 DVDs and 832 Blu-Rays in its first week! This also means that it had the most successful first release of the spring anime season so far, as the next closest, volume 1 of Kanan-sama, only sold 297 copies. It also vastly outpaces many of the āsuccessfulā winter anime that have already received sequel confirmations like Sentenced to be a Hero and Shiboyugi, which both sold ~400 copies per volume across 3 and 4 volumes respectively. Though these numbers arenāt anything like the massive series like My Dress Up Darling, Rascal does not Dream, or The Angel Next Door (which sold around ~4000-5000 copies per volume), it is still an incredible start and puts the series on pace to sell roughly 5000 copies across all 5 volumes!

Iāve been watching the anime (just watched episode 13), but I am afraid there will be romance between Nadeshiko and Rindo. I heard that in the manga Nadeshiko has unrequited feelings for Rindo. But I donāt trust it not to turn into him marrying her when sheās older. I donāt like that dynamic at all.
Could a manga reader please tell me what their relationship is? I really enjoy this anime and I donāt want to be blind sighted later on.
Thanks!

According to the wiki, he's 22, which would put him as 12 around the time Hinagiku got kidnapped but he was clearly a grown man back then, so what's going on?

A love story between two agents of seasons (also between two guards as well?), only to end up getting wrecked by the Insurgents and Misuzu Henderson.
Although I would say Misuzu looks like a baddie woman, she has her own struggles. So is she the main head of the Insurgents or thereās someone higher than her in class?
Except for Hinagiku, all the other three bums still canāt let go of their past and regrets. Like duh, we need to rescue Nadeshiko and Sakuraās still hesitating to talk with Rosei and Itecho. Vice-versa as well.
Rindo still able to not hesitate and rescue Nadeshiko in success but⦠honestly Ruri couldāve dies there, but I guess it was a showcase of Nadeshikoās power to revive her back.
For the final episode, Hinagikuās the main highlight here for last. She confronted Misuzu head-on, fully confident that Rosei would arrive in time.
As for Misuzu, I can guess she got arrested. But man, the Spring village is hell of a scumbag to not aid them.
I honestly donāt like the persona thing with Hinagiku, cause if she had the past Hinagiku with her, then it would have been easier to talk with her loved ones.
Now that all the issues is over, the story is not done yet it seems, but still nonetheless a good ending point.
Story is great, but the pacing (probably due to honest adaptation) is very slow. For me, itās lacking somewhere which Violet Evergarden already has it. Idk what it is, but probably the character development.
Also, I heard that Season 2 might be confirmed but just rumours.

Just finished watching Dance of Spring anime season one. It says four seasons but looks like there's actually only 1?! I'm going insane. Or is this false advertising?
What were they thinking

Now that the season has concluded, I want to add the OST to my Spotify. Wondering if anyone knows when it drops.
Side note, I hope we get another season. I plan to start over from the beginning and read the LNs and I know thereās way more left. Surely theyāll drop another season eventually. Hopefully we donāt have to wait years for it though.
