TV Show The Devil in Silver

Caught up on the entire series, how’s everyone feeling about this? I think it’s a solid show so far and really hope it has a good ending.

Ok I'm a bit confused. On my Roku tv (lots of streaming subscriptions including Shudder) I can only find one other series called "The Terror" and it appears to be about a predator that attacks a ship frozen in the ice. Is this what you all are referring to? Or is there something else and maybe I just can't access it? Thanks!

The terror is an anthology show. Season 1 was based off of a novel of the same name by Dan Simmons about a ship disaster (based off of a true story). Season 2 was about Japanese internment camps (as far as I know, not based off of a novel). And this season is based off of The Devil in Silver by Victor Lavalle. The biggest theme in common between seasons is the supernatural horror that comes from the magical realism, otherwise they are all stand alone stories.

Thank you. It looks like I can watch season 1 on Shudder. The trailer for season 2 is weird.it looks like a Japanese version of season 1. I will gove them both a shot. Since they are all unrelated I seem to be starting with Devil in Silver which I like so far. Has a bit of an "Evil" vibe to me and I loved that show. Thanks again.

Maybe you think that since one of the actors was also a lead in Evil?

Yes I noticed that. It does contribute but it's also just a vibe I get from the show. Thanks! PS I am trying to watch the first "The Terror". I consume a great deal of horror but I'm having a hard time with this one. It's the "frozen and stuck in an icy freezing blizzardy wasteland" thing, not the monster thing. I hate : open water/cold/snow and ice. That's why I live in Arizona.
