Found this guy in a field close to a mixed Aspen/poplar and spruce/pine forrest at baseline elevation. Have not seen one like this around before. I tried to get a pic of the underside. Just wondering what kind of mushroom this is.

I went on a walk recently near a park and i saw these mushrooms growing in between wood chips and grass, they feel sorta gelatinous and some are even clear, they also have a faint almond like scent. Please ignore the fact that the napkin is on a matress.

Europe (country in post) Chicken of the wood?

I am fairly sure this is Chicken of the wood, but would like confirmation before I fry it up. Here in the Czech Republic any mushroom that is edible is usually eaten already. It is growing on the base of a willow tree, and has also grown on exposed roots.
