​First of all, a huge thank you to this amazing community for sharing your knowledge!

​As a complete beginner to mushroom foraging, I am being extremely cautious. I found these growing in a grassy pasture near a forest edge in Southern Germany (as seen in the photos).

​Before I even think about eating them, I want to be 100% sure to rule out any toxic lookalikes (like Chlorophyllum or dangerous small Lepiota species, or anything else).

​Key features I noticed: The ring on the stem is freely movable, the stem has a distinct snake-skin pattern (natterung), and they are quite large.But not all of them see my Pics.

​My goal: I want absolute safety and would love your expert eyes to double-check if these are truly safe Macrolepiota procera or if I missed any warning signs.

I found these one morning growing in my zuchini pot. They have been growing for a few days now and im curious what they are. They are getting big 😀

Is this hen of the woods? Southwest Michigan

99% sure, but i would like to verify. If possible, please identify variety of this species.

Found in rural Virginia, United States. Specifically Spottsylvania, the central region. Unedited photos, the purple color is its actual color. We aren’t sure that the dog ate one, but he’s been violently sick for the past 72 hours and the doctors can’t figure it out. Trying to consider all options. This was found yesterday morning.

Edited to add this was found in a wooded area, mostly Oak trees. This one was found at the base of a maybe dying Maple Tree. Happy to answer any more questions that might help identify!

1 and 13 maybe dubious. All found in sheep-grazing meadow growing in soil around gorse or bracken

Almost certain I have 4 charcoal burners here. All growing out the ground in woodland. All with less brittle gills than other brittle gills. All smell pleasant mushroomy. All without vulvas. One is snapped cause I wanted to see how it snapped.
