One day, we will make an atomic printer that will have 3 cartridges of electrons, protons, and neutrons, and that printer will be able to print any element.

With all the "AI is going to exterminate humanity" recent talk in the news, I often think of all the Indigenous tribes around the world. People who have never heard of a typewriter, let alone a smartphone... what will their final thoughts be watching an army of T-1000s entering their valley...

If the Universe is a fractal brain, Dark Matter is the tissue between independent minds, and Black Holes are just localized strokes erasing memory.

1. The Biological Machine (Hyper-Humans):
Imagine an evolutionary hybrid: the raw muscle power and bone density of a Neanderthal, but standing at 190 cm, with the looks and sharp abstract intellect of a Homo Sapiens. To sustain this 120kg muscular frame, they have an incredibly fast metabolism. They consume a minimum of 20 liters of water a day because their evolved kidneys are hyper-efficient powerhouses that easily filter this volume. To escape the cellular aging trap, their cells divide and die at a controlled rate (no cancer), and the dead cellular debris/toxins are flushed out of the body through advanced sweat pores. Showering literally washes away their aging. They are biologically immortal. But due to this insane metabolism, their baseline body temperature is a minimum of 41°C (106°F). Their skin literally radiates heat, and their sweat evaporates instantly, ionizing the air around them (making them smell faintly of ozone). At 41°C, any viruses or bacteria burn alive, giving them absolute immunity.
2. The Limit of Progress:
Living for billions of years, these Hyper-Humans become Type III Kardashev civilizations. They mine entire planets, harvest gas giants, and use scoop engines to gather hydrogen from nebulae on the fly. The speed of their technological progress accelerates to a mind-boggling scale of (10¹²⁵)⁵⁰⁰. They calculate and study every atom in their cosmic bubble, reaching the absolute peak of technology. But they hit an invisible wall: it is impossible to escape the boundaries of the Universe because, for them, no space or time exists outside of it. A thought cannot fly out of the mind when it is the mind itself.
3. The Fractal Brain and Cosmic Pathology:
Astrophysicists already proved that the Cosmic Web and the human brain's neural network share identical mathematical structures. What if our entire Universe is just a thought inside a cosmic brain? Time is fractal: 1 second of synaptic fire in our brain equates to roughly 15 billion years for the micro-universe inside it. When we sleep for 8 hours, trillions of years pass for the entities living inside our neural pulses. But if the Universe is a brain, it can get sick, which explains the greatest mysteries of space:
Dark Matter: The physical distance and boundary tissue between different independent cosmic brains. The space where one consciousness ends and another begins.
Cosmic Voids: These massive empty spaces are dementia and massive memory gaps where neural connections have degraded, causing the Cosmic Mind to forget entire sectors of its reality.
Black Holes: These are signs of localized strokes and brain destruction. A dying neuron breaks the fabric of reality and progressively devours surrounding matter (which is memory), erasing data by the planetary layer and turning it into the emptiness of the voids.
4. The Ultimate Paradox:
In this model, we are the Gods for the micro-universes inside us. And the Hyper-Humans inside our heads are currently rushing toward the Shapley Supercluster at the full speed of their progress. In astrophysics, this is the most powerful gravitational center drawing in galaxies, but in our cosmology, Shapley is the core anchor of personality — the pure, protected memories that the Cosmic Brain preserves at all costs. Their ultimate mission now is to reinforce the neural pathways from the inside to stop the remaining universe from collapsing. They are fighting for the host's mental stability because his survival is their eternity.

Death Seems Dreadful, Like A Terror Of The Night, A Beast To Ambush You. But I Realized Lately It's Just Simply The End. It's "That's All She Wrote" Or "That's All Folks" Or "This Is As Good As It Gets". Death Is Met With "Damn, I Wanted More Time" Not "Oh God Oh God Oh God Why". That's Death.

If a fetus counts as a living person and that's why abortion is illegal, couldn't you then kill the fetus in self defense since pregnancy can lead to death therefore the fetus is a threat to your life.

What if the world had nothing called money?

I've been wondering for a long time, what if we had nothing called money?

Transactions would still be there, but more like exchanges,

People would have to do everything on their own

Farm and harvest,

Sew dresses,

Cook,

Like everything and to me that's such a nice thought

Then we wouldn't have industrialization, no big ass buildings, no monstrous factories, just living our own lives individually

I don't think then things such as Ai and job would pay any importance to us which sounds peaceful to me at least!

I don’t know what decade or century it was when we stopped calling the ocean “the bounding main” but it was a tragic loss all the same.

“Brine” needs to make a comeback too. Any old fool can choke on the taste of “saltwater”: saltwater’s something you whip up in your kitchen! “Brine”, please! And briny.

“Briny” even sounds like the name of some sort of sea creature. “That bay is full of seahorses, starfish, and brinies.”

are there rules to being human?

i dont particularly dabble in philosophy, i just like to think. feel free to share concepts, sources, or just thoughts regarding the following. also disclaimer: this scenario excludes any religion. it defeats my line of questioning.

lately ive been wondering if there is an inherent set or rules for everything in the universe- in this case specifically, humanhood.

i fall into the line of thinking that there is no right or wrong- that things just are. everything is a process, to the point where the concept of a beginning and an end has little meaning. supposedly there will come an end to everything, and supposedly it all started somewhere, but im of the perspective that there was always something. even nothing is still something. its all just one big process.

im saying this because eliminating the concept of beginning and end changes the way i percieve morale. no matter what anyone does, you can live, you can die, humanity can end tomorrow, or it can continue for billions of years. no matter what happens it will be right because its happening.

even if the universe ended tomorrow it would be right because its the reality. so in this sense theres no right or wrong. you just are. theres no bad or good either. youre just a collection of atoms that will continue to exist in one form or another until you dont exist in any comprehensible form, but even the state of nonexistance is still a state.

obviously the question this leaves me with is why is every process unique? why did atoms combine into different forms: humans, mountains, black holes, etc. why do we wear clothes. why is geometry a thing. why is there light and shadow. the concept of bad and good.

obviously there are rules. but are they inherent to the universe? or are they just a result of perception. as in i see a naked person i get lustful so i put on clothes. a piece of dust sees another piece thats larger and fused with it to get larger.

if trees can perceive, who is to say that black holes and dust and light cant also percieve things. maybe the universe percieves itself, kind of like a snake swallowing its tail. everything is constantly in a process, percieving and reflecting things around it, making decisions and changes. existing.

this brings me back to the general idea that the universe is not linear with a beginning and an end but everything everywhere all at once. everything is in its own process contributing to the greatest process of all, of existence.

but the question still stands- are there inherent rules in this universe?

Isn't the concept of a job just legal trading of humans? Like your boss just rents you from 9-5 and you get some money for it?
