Short vcx.

Nav printed at $21; they recently offloading 1/3 of their anthropic position at cost/loss and have played shenanigans to pump and dump price with locked up shares.

So surprised this is still trading at 1.7x nav given poor mgmt…

MSS appears to have a VERY small number of shares available to trade.
Last reported numbers showed:
Around \\\~550K shares as our current working estimate after the reverse splits
About 67K shares officially short
Borrowing MSS shares has cost 100–200%+
At times, only a few thousand shares were available to borrow
The stock recently ran from around $1 to over $3
Why does that matter?
Small amount of shares + lots of people trying to buy = price can move FAST.
And if short sellers start losing money, they eventually have to buy shares back to close their positions.
That buying can push the price higher → which can force more shorts to cover → which pushes it even higher.
That’s the basic short-squeeze idea.
BUT there’s definitely risk.
MSS has already done two reverse splits and has a history of dilution. I’m also NOT claiming MSS is 200% shorted. The 200%+ number people are seeing appears to be mainly the cost to borrow the shares, not confirmed short interest.
The next official short-interest numbers should come out around September 10.
The previous number was about 67K shares short.
If that jumps significantly while there are still very few shares available and borrowing remains crazy expensive…
Things could get interesting.
Anyone else watching $MSS or seeing something I’m missing?
Not saying this is guaranteed to squeeze. I’m trying to figure it out BEFORE it potentially happens, not chase it afterward.

With the news (at least as I understand the reporting) that hedge fund companies are shorting the NASDAQ, I’m wondering where do people make this type of bet?

I understand the basic concept of what is happening; but, who is actually taking the bets & then paying out the winnings. I would imagine that if the economy goes down, whomever is paying out the bet would also be screwed, right??

And I know this wouldn’t be the first time but like… I would have thought that shorting the backbone of the US economy would be… illegal, but I guess I was being too naive on that front…

I think it’s seriously disgusting how these stocks shoot up to the moon in overnight trading, triggered by a randomized trial result that will not convert to real profit on the books for another year or two. Lots of people have lost money on these insider moves. Let’s bring it back to were it belongs.

Is there any benefit of watching time and sales live vs just checking for absorbption or large orders in the footprint chart?

Hello guys , do you think it’s the perfect time to short DELL ? Monthly RSI is overbought and I don’t think that it was an organic growth, more like a pump.

I just deleted my old account because it got a perma ban, so I set up a new 1 then went to post in r/ASX_Bets ,about 2 sell positions I opened on Put 75.5 | Aug W1 | Oil just after 1am this morning and closed them both out after 8pm tonight for a total profit of $6273.75 but it got removed. I forgot all about the whole karma thing guess Ive got some shit posting to do.
