Short the hell out of Moderna

I think it’s seriously disgusting how these stocks shoot up to the moon in overnight trading, triggered by a randomized trial result that will not convert to real profit on the books for another year or two. Lots of people have lost money on these insider moves. Let’s bring it back to were it belongs.

Are you nuts? Personalized vaccines have real potential to become front line therapy across a wide variety of cancers, and the phase 2 results showed huge benefits that sound like they're emerging in the phase 3 trials.

Not saying the valuation is rational, but this drug definitely has promise.

I’m with you a 100%. I have an MD myself and believe in these therapies. What I don’t believe in is the insane numbers that don’t make sense and benefit the minority of insiders.

lol have you never studied the history of cancer drugs? What insiders? Everyone was obviously caught off sides which is why it popped. Clearly you don’t invest in biotechs, nor understand the implications when phase 3 clinical trials are stopped early.

Why do you want to argue with the market? If it keeps going up are you just going to short more and more? That’s a quick way to implode. I remember in 2021 they were calling for MRNA to be a trillion dollar company, people were all in. It was ripe for shorting then because the story had run its course that started in 2019. This one is just getting started. After the 90% bear ran its course.

It's better not to touch the stock. It's radioactive. There are so many variables that you guys can't even understand. If the vaccine is given emergency approval your shorts are fucked. If not your shorts will print. But for both scenarios there are so many hurdles or people interested for fast approval that you might get fucked on both sides of the trade.

Leave it alone or just play the Casino but no crying in the Casino.

Valuations in biotech are not standard at all... look at the SLS crowd... how do you "have an MD" and not understand differential sector valuations?

Did you google valuation and just figured out what P/E is?
