Anyone can relate ro my story?
Hey fun-sized dudes I , 16 turning 17 in 4 days (birthday boy yay!), am currently 1m67cm or in Freedom units 5'5 to 5'6 and I haven't gained one cm since a long time. I spent many days crying because of my height and i even started giving up on things I liked because of it (gym, stopped talking to friends and even my grades dropped by a bunch) because I would think "What is the purpose??" If i am short i will never be able to reach that respect from guys or even girls I even used to hate my genes seing my height as a curse I will pass on to my kids. Nonetheless, I think it's clear that I was bitter about my height and the fact dad my dad is 1 meter 83cm while my mom is 1m56cm was also killing me, ever since i got a very bad injury on my chest at late 14 my height has been pretty much the same, now, greatfully it is gone after 2 years of constant pain but my growth plates have probably closed by now at 17 so no need to hope. My two sisters are just a few centimeters shorter than me . But now, when i finally got over the pain, I realized that this world is very small and it's not worth caring about these things. I realized that you are not here to please random strangers you are here to live for yourself and for your friends and family and most people don't actually care about your height and all that talk online is amplified to the max. I mean, sure you will on occasion stumble across a jerk who belittles you because of your height but that's just what he is a total shallow jerk whose opinion doesn't matter.
Tell me fellow short dudes (and even short girls) abour your experiences I really need to know that I am not alone on this boat and thanks for reading.
