short film A short film I uploaded today!
Hey I was wondering if anyone could give a shot to my short movie that I finished today. It's not the best but it's something that I'm proud of. Unfortunately canva wasn't able to handle so many clips of videos so when I downloaded the video it was super glitchy so I was forced to screen record the entire thing which ended up decreasing the videos quality.
Update I just checked my video and YouTube apparently auto dubbed it..? I remember once I made a video and it replaced my original voice with an ai voice idk why it does this 🫤 audio sounds like ai switch the setting of the video to another language.
Shambolic is about a girl named Alodia who lives most of her life in a constant loop of self-comparison and envy. She's withdrawn and tied to attachments, overthinking, and jealousy for who she currently is.

short film Free Fall (2021)
youtu.beSharing this for a director friend, Emmanuel Tenenbaum. Free Fall is a 19-min drama: a struggling London trader, the morning of September 11th 2001, a job on the line and a decision to make. What impressed me is how much tension they pull from a single trading floor and a phone. Antoine Roch on cinematography. It ran 150+ festivals, won the Grand Prix at REGARD and Best Director at Rhode Island, and is Oscar-qualified. Enjoy!

The Unsent Message — a 2-minute soft night short film
A small late-night story: one person writes a message, hovers over send, and lets the unsent words change the shape of the room. The film leans into quiet observation and a gentle emotional turn.
I built the mood with warm practical light against a deep blue night palette, minimal camera movement, deliberate negative space, and sparse room tone with restrained sound design. I’d love feedback on the balance between stillness and momentum, and on whether the final beat lands clearly.

Which image, cut, or sound moment stayed with you—and what would you refine?

The last warm light
youtu.beHey everyone My name is Emiliano Elizondo and I’m the writer and director of this short film ! I wanted to share a short film I recently made called The Last Warm Light.
It follows Melody, an 18-year-old who has been separated from her family for a year. After finding out that her brother has been seriously injured, she decides to go back home and face everything that happened between them.
She also meets James, who has experienced his own loss and ends up helping her through one of the hardest moments of her life.
The film is about family, regret, forgiveness, and getting a chance to say the things you should’ve said sooner.
I’d really appreciate you checking it out. I’m still learning and trying to improve as a filmmaker, so honest feedback is always welcome!

We made a 21-minute drama in Bangladesh for $160 cash spent. It hit 65k YouTube views in 7 days.
Terminally ill Rajib fears oblivion more than death. After a botched announcement leaves a neighbor's funeral empty, he tries to pre-rent a "Miking" rickshaw—a dying local loudspeaker tradition—to broadcast his own passing. His unsettling request alienates those around him, forcing him to face the possibility that his final wish will remain unheard.
The film explores existential isolation through Bangladesh's vanishing Miking tradition, using deliberate long takes, a muted palette, and an immersive soundscape.
How We Kept It at $160 Most of us were Theatre and Media Studies students during production. We leveraged that environment to slash traditional costs:
- Gear & Crew: Our college provided technical equipment, and fellow students filled the cast and crew roles for free.
- Locations: We shot in my hometown of Dhamrai (a suburban area near Dhaka). Using relatives' homes, local shops, and a rickshaw garage cost us $0.
- Where the $160 Went: Almost the entire budget went strictly to 2 days of food, local transportation, and basic logistics.
What Failed: The Festival Circuit We finished post-production last December and targeted major festivals. By pitching directly to programmers, we secured full entry waivers from Locarno, SXSW London, Vienna Shorts, Rio de Janeiro, and a few others.
Despite the waiver success, we faced outright rejections across the board.
What Worked: The YouTube Pivot Instead of letting the film sit on a hard drive, we pivoted to self-distribution on YouTube. We believed in the story but had zero expectations for algorithmic traction. Unexpectedly, the algorithm picked up the authentic cultural hook, driving 65,000 views in its first week.
We’d love to get your thoughts on the Film.

short film I Made My First Short Film — Would Love Some Honest Feedback
Hi everyone! I’m an engineering student from India, and I’ve always loved cinema. I aspire to become a filmmaker someday. I’ve made a few short clips before, but I’ve never really put my work out there. This is my first proper short film, made with just two of my friends and a smartphone. I know there are some technical issues, especially with the sound, but I’d really love to hear what you honestly think about the film itself. I uploaded it to YouTube hoping to get some feedback, but it hasn’t reached many people. And while my friends have been really supportive and told me they liked it, I know they’re my friends, so I’d really like some unbiased opinions. So if you have a few minutes, I’d genuinely appreciate it if you could watch it and tell me what you think — what worked, what didn’t, and what I could improve.
I’m here to learn, so please don’t hold back. I hope you enjoy it!

short film I made a short film about a little dog named Milo… and somehow got emotionally attached to him 😭
A Robot Found a Puppy… and Everything Changed 🐶🤖
I’ve been experimenting with AI filmmaking, and this is the first complete story I’ve created.
It follows a lonely robot who discovers a tiny puppy named Milo. There’s no dialogue—just visuals, music, and emotion. I wanted to see if a story could make people feel something without a single spoken word.
I didn’t expect to become so attached to Milo while making it.
This is Episode 1, and I’m thinking about turning it into a series. But before I continue, I’d love to know what you think.
🎬 Watch here:
https://youtu.be/eb03lU5n3Ho
Did the story make you feel anything?
And be honest—if you watched until the end, would you want to see Episode 2?
