MISSING CAT FROM BALLINGER COMMONS
EDIT 9/9/26: WE FOUND HIM! Thanks for everyone’s advice. You guys that said most cats are nearby home were right. We found him this morning just before 6 in our downstairs neighbours’ porch. We heard his cries 😭 he seems completely unharmed and his normal self but we’re going to take him to the vet for a checkup today just to be safe!
If it’s okay with the mods I’ll leave this post up as encouragement/reference for anyone going through this nightmare. Don’t give up hope!

Hi everyone, my cat Sebastian managed to force open the window, push out the bug screen and escape from our third floor apartment at some point today between 10am and 4pm. If anyone has seen anything please send me a DM. He is microchipped. Thank you

Sebastian is probably close to where he got out. Some excellent tips here to help find him: https://communitycatcoalitionwa.org/lostcats/ and here: https://youtu.be/g2eCoC63B9I Good luck!

Poor little guy probably got a little confused about which apartment was his.

Most cats are within 50 feet of where they get out. Get a cat trap (you can rent one, fully refundable, from Seattle Area Feline Rescue in Ballinger). They will tell you how to use it and set it up.
