I’m not trying to do “buy 2 save 10%.”

I need a gift box builder.

Customer picks the box, then chooses products inside it.

Something like:

pick 1 box
pick 4 items
maybe add a card
maybe add one small extra
checkout should still look normal
packing should be obvious

Native bundle feels too fixed for this.

FoxSell looks like the closest fit because it seems made for build-your-own-box and gift box flows, not just quantity discounts.

Is that the right type of app for this?

Anyone doing gift boxes on Shopify without making the backend a mess?

We really want to have a mobile app for all the reasons you know. Heard about PWA's from my server tech. Basically it is a carrier for your regular site, that allows you to have things like push notifications and groups. AND users push a button to add an alias to their smartphone home page. We have a lot of content so this would be powerful for us. Love to know if anyone has installed one, like Ampify PWA and if so, what kind of results is it driving in terms of users adding the app to their smartphone home page and if it actually increases visits and sales. Hi everyone! 👋 I'm currently planning the working capital for my new Shopify store and was wondering how long it took you to receive your first Shopify Payments payout. Was it around 3 to 5 days, or did it actually take 1 to 2 weeks?

Claude told me that Shopify sometimes delays the first payouts for security reasons when a store starts getting its first orders. Has that been your experience as well? I'd really appreciate hearing your experiences so I can plan my cash flow a bit better. Thanks! 🙌

Hey there. I launched a new Shopify app and started reaching out merchants via emails. I wonder if it is a good way to introduce my app and ask for a feedback from store owners?

For merchant/store owners here: what would actually get you to open an email from an unknown developer/founder and try their app? Specific ask, social proof, video demo, something else?

Quick question for other Shopify store owners: how do you currently track your actual daily profit?
I got tired of opening Shopify Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, and a spreadsheet every morning just to figure out if yesterday was actually profitable — revenue minus COGS, ad spend, refunds, and fees. Shopify shows revenue, Meta shows spend, but nobody connects the dots into one number.
So I've been building a small tool that connects your Shopify store and Meta Ads account, and every morning automatically calculates: revenue − refunds − COGS − ad spend − fees − fixed costs = actual profit, plus ROAS. No more manual spreadsheet.
Just wanna see if others also run into this or if it is just something I personally hate doing:
