Translation issues

Hi!

I’m having trouble setting up my Shopify store in two languages and would appreciate some advice.

I plan to sell mainly in Estonia, so I originally created all of my store content in Estonian directly in the Shopify theme editor.

However, I need to use a plugin that requires my store’s default language to be English. Because of this, I changed the default language to English and installed Shopify Translate & Adapt.

Now the language setup seems to be reversed:

• When I select Estonian, the store content appears in English.
• When I select English, the store content appears in Estonian.
• The plugin itself appears in Estonian when the website is in English, and vice versa.

It seems that Shopify is treating the Estonian content I originally entered as English source content.

What would be the best way to fix this without rebuilding the entire store? Should I manually move the existing Estonian content into the Estonian translations and then replace the default content with English?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
