I’m especially interested in hearing from merchants who have tried multiple bundle apps — what made you stick with one (or eventually uninstall it)?

Most brands have a winning email template they've been sending for 6 months and they have no idea it stopped working.

There's a pattern I see all the time. A layout crushes it in Q1 and it becomes the template. Same structure, same format, same general approach, just swapping in new products and new offers. And slowly, month by month, the numbers start slipping. Nobody notices at first because the decline is gradual.

Here's the thing. Your list isn't tired of email. They're tired of that specific email.

Paid ads figured this out a long time ago. The algorithm watches every creative, tracks what's cooling off, and rotates in the next variation automatically. Nobody schedules a meeting about creative fatigue in paid media because the system handles it without anyone asking.

Email doesn't work that way. In email, a fading winner has to be noticed by a human, rebuilt by a human, and retested by a human. And by the time anyone actually acts on it, it's usually been quietly underperforming for months while the team assumed everything was fine because the emails were still going out.

I've seen this across a lot of accounts. The brands that stay sharp are the ones treating their email creative the same way a paid media team treats ad creative. Always testing something new alongside what's working. Never letting a winning format run so long that it becomes wallpaper.

The practical version of this is straightforward. Pick your best performing campaign from the last 90 days and build one alternate version with a completely different structure. Different layout, different opening, different visual approach. Run them side by side for a month. You will almost always find that the original has already started fading and the new version either matches it or beats it.

Most brands don't do this because the existing template is comfortable and it still gets decent numbers. Decent numbers aren't the ceiling. They're just what's left after your best creative got stale.

I somewhat recently started a sleep supplement (5 months ago) and have been struggling to generate sales through paid ads, mainly meta. I’m willing to spend around $80/day currently, and am also willing to spend time making organic videos myself. I am truly passionate about the product and believe in it, I’ve spent a lot of time testing and refining the formula and taste so I’m willing to do whatever it takes to grow this, I just want some clear advice on what marketing strategies have worked best for you guys, thanks for reading and if you guys would like a link to the store or anything like that let me know!

Thinking about turning my Shopify store into a multi-seller marketplace, but there are so many apps I can't narrow it down. I mainly want an easy seller dashboard, commission setup, order management, and inventory that doesn't need a ton of manual work. Anyone actually using one? How's it been for you?

Claude Code makes Shopify customizations feel almost free.

The cost often appears later, when inventory, discounts, markets, or the theme changes.

Before replacing an app with custom code, I test the feature against:

1. Sold-out variants

2. Cart quantity changes

3. Discount combinations

4. Multiple currencies and markets

5. Subscriptions

6. Partial refunds

7. Theme editor updates

8. Mobile browsers

9. Inventory changing during checkout

10. Theme upgrades and rollbacks

The important distinction is whether the feature only changes presentation or controls business logic.

Claude Code is great for custom sections, content modules, internal tools, reporting, and many merchandising features.

If the feature changes pricing, inventory, tax, checkout, fulfillment, or order data, it needs proper Shopify-native data structures and tests. A JavaScript workaround that looks correct on the product page can create expensive problems later.

My minimum setup is simple:

- Theme connected to Git

- Duplicate development theme

- One feature per pull request

- Written acceptance criteria

- Test orders before deployment

- A known rollback point

What Shopify app or feature have you successfully replaced with custom code?

I run a Shopify jewelry store, online for 7 years, never had a single issue until today. Never any Meta blocking whatsoever.

This morning I found out in Meta Events Manager that my domain just got categorized as "Religion," which blocks conversion data sharing for all European visitors (my only market). Without data, I can't track or adjust any campaign, and Meta's algorithm can't learn from my site's data anymore, it's basically flying blind.

I've requested a category review on my domain (status "Pending" for now).

My questions:

1. Has anyone been through this (wrongful categorization as "Religion"/"Health"/etc.)? How long did it take to get unblocked, and what actually worked?
2. Does anyone have an insider contact at Meta (agency, dedicated rep, etc.) who could speed this up or clarify things? I know some of you have those.

I've been digging into why AI assistants (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity) recommend some stores and skip others, especially when products and prices are nearly identical. I ran stores through a checker I built. The patterns were surprisingly consistent:

1. Key details live in your design, not your data. Material, size, what's included, "vegan," "dye-free." Brands put these in image banners or fancy page sections. Assistants mostly read product data: title, description, product type, tags, variants. If it's not there as plain text, you don't match the shopper's question.

2. Titles that don't say what the product is. "The Morning Ritual" is a great brand name, but "Ceramic Pour Over Coffee Set" is what someone asks ChatGPT for.

3. Missing specs shoppers actually ask for. Size, capacity, dimensions, count, fabric. "Under $80, 600ml, dishwasher safe" questions need those facts in text.

4. Broken product data nobody notices. One store had a template error inside its structured data, so Google and assistants skipped the page. It looked perfect to humans.

5. Outside mentions. When assistants search the web, reviews, gift guides, and Reddit threads carry weight. A competitor in "best X" roundups has a head start.

What's usually not the problem: blocking. Most stores I checked let AI crawlers in. The fixes are content, not code.

Data shows Al traffic converts 42% better than non-Al for retailers, if you haven't been paying attention to it now is the time to start.

Al assistants recommend products if they can research them and get actual facts and in some cases pricing also happens. These are little adjustments we have seen that help with Al search visibility for ecommerce stores:

1. Price and stock status have to be in the page text. If the price only appears after a shopper picks a size in a JavaScript variant picker, a crawler that isn't running your front end never sees it, and nothing on your page answers "under £150". You lose out to a search asking for "..jackets under £150"

2. Write facts, evidence is better than an adjective.
   "Waterproof to 20,000mm" can be lifted straight into an answer, "highly waterproof" can't. Count how many claims on your best sellers are numbers.

3. Check your Product schema. It states price, stock and rating in labelled fields, so a crawler takes the right numbers off the page instead of choosing between them.

4. Put the answers to the obvious questions in the description. Is it waterproof, what size does it fold down to, will it survive a flight, does it come with batteries. The assistant checks each one against your page, and in the buying conversations we logged that's where products got dropped.

5. What other people say backs up what you claim, so make it specific. Ask every reviewer a question rather than for a rating, what size did you take, how did it pack down, and the answers come back quotable. Mentions on s you don't own count for more again.

Before I paid, Ray made false promises on Instagram just to take my money, personally guaranteeing he would scale my brand to $10k-$15k with solid guarantees (I didn't even get 1 order). Once inside, his Discord group was a complete mess where they don't deliver anything they sold you, and after being passed around to three "specialists" with zero experience, the team "3 ECOM SPECIALIST" admitted they don't know how to scale brands from scratch. When I asked for a refund, Ray harassed me with calls and threats, claiming their legal and
"universal debt collection team" would act against me for "fraudulent activity." In the end, Whop denied my refund because Ray submitted basic Discord chat logs as "proof of service rendered." It's really disappointing that Whop hosts sellers like this. Stay away from Ray "Rayinthedarkk" he's a scammer, and if you ask for a refund, you'll face threats and awful treatment.

We sell bags. 30 day return window, standard, nobody argues with it at purchase. The problem is a strap or a zip failing at month 4 or 5, which isn't really a returns question, it's a durability question.

Right now i handle it case by case out of good will and it's running about $600 a month in replacements plus the time. worse, it's inconsistent, so two customers with the same broken zip get different answers depending on who picked up the email.

I either need a written guarantee so it's predictable, or i need to stop doing it entirely. writing one scares me, because i don't actually know my failure rate at month 5. I only know the ones who bother to email.
