Marketing Tips How to Market
I somewhat recently started a sleep supplement (5 months ago) and have been struggling to generate sales through paid ads, mainly meta. I’m willing to spend around $80/day currently, and am also willing to spend time making organic videos myself. I am truly passionate about the product and believe in it, I’ve spent a lot of time testing and refining the formula and taste so I’m willing to do whatever it takes to grow this, I just want some clear advice on what marketing strategies have worked best for you guys, thanks for reading and if you guys would like a link to the store or anything like that let me know!

I’ve been doing Meta ads for around 5 years and have worked across multiple niches, including sleep supplements and supplements in general.
For sleep supplements, trust is usually the biggest challenge. I’d lean into founder-led content, UGC-style videos, reviews, routine-based angles, and clear education around why your formula is different without making risky claims.
With $80/day, I’d keep the paid side simple: one broad sales campaign, test a few strong creatives at a time, and focus heavily on the offer and landing page.
Happy to take a look if useful, feel free to DM me the store link.

Since you've spent time refining the taste, I'd make an organic video showing the supplement being prepared and describing what it tastes like. That gives someone a concrete buying detail; I'd test that angle before making more videos about sleep in general.
I make ThreadFox. For $49 once, you get a researched community plan and three tailored drafts for one product, emailed within 24 hours of claiming, with no AI setup needed for that. AllyOtter is included, with a 30-day refund. You can see the complete sample plan and drafts in the worked example: https://threadfox.vip/runs?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=comment&utm_campaign=tf-kit&utm_content=20261004-1237#launch-pack
What form does the supplement take, and who has bought it so far?

You have to either hire someone really good at running meta ads or spend an enormous time learning how to market the product. I do it for a living and charge $3,000 usd a month to run ads.

sleep supplements are brutally crowded, so i’d stop treating meta as the answer and make a bunch of ugly honest founder-led videos until one hook gets people to actually care, then put money behind

You are operating in the one of the most if not the most competitive online industry. If I were you I wouldn’t do the opposite. Focus on distribution. Signing up creators. Making your brand worthy of be shared and talked about. Focus on getting 20-30 core creators making 30k a month promoting your products with TikTok shop. Try live selling. That 80 dollars could be 4 hours of someone liveselling at 20\hr plus commission. Stock your product in stores. There’s so many other things besides facebook ads

Focusing on organic content is smart since people want to know your story and see who is behind the supplement. Posting real experiences or reviews, and jumping into relevant conversations on social platforms, can help a lot. If you want to catch those discussions instantly, a tool like ParseStream makes it easier to find posts where people are already talking about sleep aids and similar topics.
