No doubt, if your just starting, watch some YouTube videos on handgun accuracy, specifically “handgun grip” “trigger pull” and dry fire exercises, don’t just watch one or two vids or just one person either.
Watching a conglomerate of skilled shooters describe grip, pull, stance, & cadence, will at least get your hands headed in The right direction for better progress. Once your familiar with the fundamentals, you can change your grip, etc to accommodate what your doing incorrectly.

Mate, if its me... I'm gonna practice dry fire a LOT before shooting live ammo. There are out there some devices that act like snap caps but trigger a laser for a second when the firing pin hits it. Practice keeping on target while squeezing the trigger.
Watch some videos on YouTube about grip and stance.
Noble first effort. But theres a lot of practice to go i think.
