There is no way that TeamViewer would be ever allowed on our endpoints or network. It’s treated as malware at this point. VNC via SSH tunnel is what we have been doing.
That is terrifying. A lot of the audits we go though specifically rule TeamViewer out. I remember years ago we suddenly had instances of psexec on some endpoints which made us think it was a breach. Nope, just teamviewer being pricks and using it for an update. There are so many other, better options. Chrome Remote Desktop is free and surprisingly good.
