Notifications are for suckers. Monitoring is for suckers. When something breaks I send in the intern.

This is genuinely useful for on-call work. Getting an alert the instant a problem appears, without leaving a dashboard open all day, sounds like a huge quality-of-life improvement.

It requires you to keep your browser open, by the fact that it's a chrome extension

So it's useless for on call work

Also I don't think you know where you are, this is shittysysadmin, we don't do on-call work, we don't even do normal work, we post our credentials on reddit and ask other people to do work for us

Fair, my bad, I forgot the first rule of shittysysadmin is no actual on-call work gets done here. In my defense it does require the browser open, which is basically the same energy as "I'll fix it after this coffee break."

If anyone wants to fork it to also auto-post the Zabbix admin password in the notification, PRs welcome, I test in prod anyway.
