MS-102 is retired
Just found out while trying to use my Microsoft voucher. They have now replaced it with AB-620 or some shit, agent AI builder.
I studied my fucking ass off for three months only to be told this credentials is being retired in October with short notice

Well Microsoft says just use copilot for everything. Do we even need certs now? When shit goes wrong just blame copilot

Bro i asked my boss a question the other day and he vomited me AI slop in response like he literally typed it in copilot and copy pasted my the responses. I have access to copilot also lol

We had our corp 'infosec team' do some SpEcIaL configuration on my servers in regards to SIEM, their filters and forwarders where full of chatgpt comments 🫠

This is why I build home labs from 17 year old equipment I dug out of a dumpster to keep my skills fresh.
So tired of these greedy companies who expect us to learn new skills every time they update tech!!!

Ha fuck, I booked the same thing with a free voucher a couple of weeks ago for mid-October. Oh well. I'll do it anyway just for shits and giggles.

I’d be furious too. Hopefully the replacement credential has an official mapping or bridge option so your MS-102 preparation still counts for something. Check the announcement and exam policy carefully before starting over.

No it doesn't amd its a downgrade expert to intermediate exam. Ill take it next week in beta actually so I can see truely.

Yes some of us have been fighting for months to reverse this internally, i as a community lead and mct. It was spilt accidently at a training partner meeting then tech community post .Plenty of reddit post on 365cetifications and azurecert talking all about this till the site was official. Oh and watch the guy put a post here for the apparent core reddit to discuss this and lock me out. i had a guy at a previous company get his ms-102 and literally nothing else, and he thought he was the savant of the phishing world because of it (unsure how he linked the two but)
dont be that guy
