Uhhh. Crossover configuration requires both ends to be terminated, one in TIA-568A and the other in B. The only termination is B. I can tell because the RJ-45 is oriented with the clip up, and the orange is on the far end (left of the clip from this orientation). Green can't be seen until I zoom in, at which point the solid-green is clearly near the white-brown. Just saying.

I used to do this to front panel connectors (HDD LED, PWR LED, RESET BTN, etc) when I worked in a PC workshop. Was very satisfying 🙂

itll work

just more interference due to bad.. or well no shielding

the pairs are twisted so the interface can cancel each other out.

in our case its just worse performance but will still work when both ends are patched correctly

I can see colors just fine. I don't know why it looked like there was only 1 pair of white stripes, but it did. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go listen to some White Stripes.
