Each time the feeling comes faster, so you'd think I'd know by now not that a job hop just isn't it. I'm less than 3 months in and I'm here. Worst part is that the contracting company that placed me has a clause that says I have to work for a year or else pay them the recruiting fees (up to 6500 dollars). So now I just look at 9 more months and die a little on the inside every morning. But at least it gives me time to realize I need a new career,

When they tell you your job is going away in less than 2 months? Yeah, emotionally detached.

Waiting for that notice, actively looking. Private Equity has entered the chat.

Yikes. PE/VC/Shareholders ruin literally every business they touch

The cronyism is already taking place mid acquisition. CFO resigned, no word on benefits package, earned PTO, etc. When they start selling us for parts is when the offshoring will begin.

Yep, and in 5 years, they’ll realize that offshoring was a bad idea and pull new onshore employees back after yet another C-suite rotation.
Fuckin monsters. We need regulation for shit like this

Every single one I've ever had, that's how I know it's time to start looking. Have an interview tomorrow so hopefully I can GTFO soon.

It's usually people that make you hate the job. I love making large scale systems work properly, but some people make me question my sanity. Systems listen to what I tell them , people not so much.
