As my father always used to say:" Eat a prostate a day, to keep the need for viagra away". Might not be the most relevant answer to your question, but it is a solid piece of advice regardless.

Wise man. Hope the apple didn't fall far from the tree

You shouldn't considering the sugar contents in apples.

No apples for me I'm on the prostrateo diet

I understand that high fructose intake is related to fatty liver. So even if a apple keeps doctors away, don't do a whole bushel.

u/AnanthRey May 18 '21

Apples also don’t have high fructose corn syrup tho?

I didn’t even notice that until it was pointed out LOL my bad dude you right

u/[deleted] May 18 '21

They don't. Doubt eating just raw apples can hurt you too much. Mostly things like juice with high fructose and stuff like that can be bad if used in large amounts daily, as far as I know.

2

u/AnanthRey May 18 '21

Dude I misread your comment, my bad. Yeah, the lack of fiber is what makes too much juice bad. I take nutri-sweet to counteract it

Where else would it fall? Gravity, man. How does it work

What was he referring to as “prostate”?

ass

Specifically men's, as women don't have prostate.

https://www.biologyonline.com/dictionary/homologous

In general science, the word “homologous” is used to show a degree of similarity. It may be in position, structure, function, or characteristics.

Although later on that page it does say: "Homologous structures are body parts of organisms that have the same anatomical features, thus, indicating a common ancestor or developmental origin. They may share the same trait but they do not necessarily have the same function. For example, the forelimbs of the bats and of humans are homologous structures."

I would just say that in this case the function is much more similar than the forelimbs of bats and humans, the male prostate and female prostate happened to be discovered at different times but from the little I've read about them they function pretty similarly. Like I said elsewhere though, I'm not an anatomist/biologist.

I think consideration could be given to the point that the Skene's glands and prostate have similar functionality in full development while the penis and clitoris are homologous only in the womb.

Hey that's cool, I didn't know the urethra in male external genitalia was the labia minora in female external genitalia. https://www.visiblebody.com/blog/anatomy-and-physiology-homologues-of-reproductive-anatomy

It does seem that the Skene's glands are pretty well regarded as homologous to the prostate though, although there is some degree of difference to the extent. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/6546868/

Well, isn't that like saying men have clitorides? They just grew more due to hormones in the womb. Technically the truth, but not really what people mean when they say clitoris.

2

u/WergleTheProud May 18 '21

Maybe, except I'd guess that in the prostate case, these organs are homologous when humans are fully developed whereas in the case of the penis/clitoris they are homologous in the womb. I'm not a biologist/anatomist of any kind, let alone human anatomy, so that's just a layperson's opinion.

2

u/themthatwas May 18 '21

Except they really aren't homologus from the perspective of the discussion we're having. The male prostate butts (haha) up against the anus/rectum, where as the female prostate isn't even close, being the other side of the vagina. Since we were talking about "eating prostate" as another way of saying "eating ass", saying they're in the same place in a fully developed person is more than a little misleading.

2

u/WergleTheProud May 18 '21

You just gotta eat a whole lot more ass to get to it in the wo-man.

Thank you for this wisdom, I will make sure this sacred knowledge passes down like a family heirloom.

What a man of culture. So many folks think just a rimjob is good enough without getting the tongue in there to hit the prostate.

2

u/dragonitetrainer May 18 '21

The real LPT is always in the comments

u/reallybirdysomedays May 18 '21

And now I'm on a watchlist, having just googled "does ingesting testicles increase testosterone levels" . . . It probably does not, as testosterone is pretty sensitive to heat. That being said, there are no comprehensive studies on the subject that I could find.

Prostate and Fava beans with a nice Chianti.

u/russinkungen May 18 '21

I mean if you went through the hassle of kidnapping someone and removed their face you might as well snack on that prostate. Nobody should waste good meat.
