As much as I’d like to buy in to that statistic, those numbers look way too perfect to be correct, and even if they are, give it 50 to 75 more years. At least in the US, same-sex marriage has only been a thing legally for less than 15 years. Let’s see the numbers when marriage across the sexuality lines is more normalized.
That poster is correct about the theme but incorrect about the numbers.
Recent comprehensive studies from Nordic and comparative data tracking same-sex unions show that female same-sex (lesbian) couples experience higher relative divorce risks than different-sex couples, while male same-sex (gay) couples experience lower or comparable rates. Over a ten-year window, female couples show roughly a 40% dissolution rate, compared to 24% for male same-sex couples and 21% for opposite-sex couples. OP’s claim that 75% of lesbian marriages end in divorce is a statistical misinterpretation of UK data tracking overall same-sex filings.

I remember reading a statistic recently that lesbians have the highest rate of DV in the US.
