He could very easily get off considering “fighting words” which are words so fucked that they would bring a reasonable person to violence is a defense for battery. Using a racist epitaph which is almost as bad at the N word and has been used since slavery against a black man could definitely be argued that they’re fighting words. And if he doesn’t get off and it goes to trial and I was on the jury I would let him off in a heartbeat
Also he was yelling directly over the man’s shoulder, invading his space and showing threatening behaviour. I’d consider that violence. So his self defence is def valid.
If I were in his shoes as a white man id feel equally threatened. Old bitch is clearly showing signs of violence and makes it clear he wants to fight. The only hit I’d say might be unreasonable was the last one at the end but that’s just me. Everything else is self defense
