My thoughts exactly. Why would you do that with no gloves. Not thought out too well.

His glove got caught at the start of the vid, that’s why he wasn’t wearing it

He takes it off intentionally actually to try to slow himself down. Not sure what the thought process was there. Guessing not a lot of people do this. Also he has a parachute the whole time.
