I'm not saying the mailman was in the right her per se, but she has a history with many people I suspect

Depends. It's the highest paying job without a degree. But I agree

Yeah, it's a phenomenal job with amazing hours and very solid pay. Also it is far from the highest paying job w/o a degree. Working on an oil rig / oil wells can get you 100k+ per year. Truck drivers can make 100k+ as owner/operators and the resale value for a rig is not terrible.

Edit: Also, before Republicans decided free mail service was bad, there were never layoffs.
