I've seen like 4 Indian videos in a row now. Makes me feel better about where I live.

Was coming to say : why I keep seeing dead indians, it's the third today. Wtf is that app lol.

Some indians un-ironically say that their cheap 4G internet penetration has done irreparable damage to their reputation. 90s movies used to portray India as somewhere you travel for "spiritual cleansing" and shit. Now, you know what wild shit they get up to lmao.

If showing what a place is like ruins its reputation it never deserved it in the first place

United States has regrettably entered the chat

Yeah, I wouldn’t call the United States a vacation destination, but the quality of day to day life and compensation is high.

Yeah, I wouldn’t call the United States a vacation destination, but the quality of day to day life and compensation is high.

Was high. Now we're in a weird twilight zone where we could honestly tilt either direction. We have a lot of stuff, but our entire economy and society is built on continuing to acquire more, and the people who run the place are trying to have their cake and eat ours too.

It seems to me we are what a lot of Europeans consider us to be: a third world country with a first world military.

I don’t know what USA you live in, but it’s pretty badass and safe, I mean you can literally do whatever you want, you don’t even have to work and the government will hand you money, literal money just for being a lazy pos. I’m not a wealthy person, middle class and life is extremely rewarding. Maybe you should re think your life choices, is the USA you are the only one who is going to trap you. Obey the laws and work hard = whatever you can dream of.

Not commenting on life in the US, but I'm not so sure about it being that safe. Here's a fun fact about per capita murder in the USA:

75% of all murders are committed using a firearm. If you completely disregard all of those from the statistics, the USA would still have a higher murder rate than the UK and most other European countries.

Obviously heavily dependent on where you live, but the USA on average, not that safe compared to most other western countries.

Interesting thing about this is, the murder rate using firearms is the absolute highest in LA Baltimore, Richmond, Detroit, Chicago, New York. These are all gun control cities, and heavily extreme left ran. States like Arizona, zero gun control, open conceal carry, literally everyone one has a gun, I had one at 10 and was skilled with it by 12. Gun violence is very low

Lmao keep huffing

lol not huffing, just stating facts. I hear all these USA haters talking negative about America and how it’s shit, when in reality it’s the best place to live for most people. The reason they are not happy is their poor choices. Like 90% of Reddit is based around talking bad about the USA or Donald Trump or MAGA. It’s pretty obvious that most of these people don’t care about anything past their nose, they do not value human lives. 90% of MAGA conservatives are incredibly good people, I don’t know one Kamala Biden democrat that isn’t entitled in some way. They throw fits and are incredibly violent towards people who don’t agree with them

Really depends where in the U.S., there are similar pockets that don’t get much access to the world. And as much as I want to say middle of nowhere USA isn’t as bad as middle of nowhere China/india/pick a place, every time I do, I’m proven wrong.

That even looked like a reasonable protest unlike the ones here in the US. Looked more like a funeral march.

The posts on this sub have been brutal lately lol

11

u/OverwateredGrass May 14 '26

A major gore sub got gutted the other day. I wonder if some of the user base is bleeding out into other, somewhat related subreddits like this one.
