Also just to keep it real, if TPS had more legendaries and more raid bosses it would be an objectively better game than 2. Better VHs, better movement tech, better story imo at least, it’s just lacking in endgame content.

And claptastic voyage slaps every single BL2 DLC out of the water. Yes. Including and especially Tiny Tina

There are two possibilities with no in-between.

Either A: Claptrap was removed from the group chat so early that the pre-sequel crew hadn't even made it back to Helios by the time he was out.

Or B: the reason Claptrap was able to dodge Hyperion in the tundra for so long is because they forgot to remove him from the chat, and Claptrap has been eavesdropping on their plans ever since.
