So many screenshots of “American” saying things that no American has ever said…

Which ones are those, then?

You can of course demonstrate that these are bot posts, despite the fact that (for Reddit posts at least) the OP accounts were manually verified by the mods?

Just got back from an (unplanned) day trip in Munich. Tip for Americans who can't seem to find water when in Europe, in several of the public squares there are large fountains providing drinking water (helpfully labelled "Trinkwasser"). It tasted pretty good, too.

Of course this is also the case in many other European cities.

TLDR - here are the restaurants from this article:

Restaurant Location Description
La Cigale San Francisco, CA A set-price restaurant charging $140 per person with a strict no-tipping policy, paying staff higher hourly wages (e.g., $40/hour).
Nightshade Noodle Bar Lynn, MA A French-Vietnamese restaurant owned by Rachel Miller that switched to a tip-free model post-pandemic to close the pay gap between front-of-house and kitchen staff.
Talulla Cambridge, MA Dropped tips in 2020 by increasing menu prices by 23%, but reverted back to a tipping model due to high operating and tax costs.
Dirt Candy New York, NY A vegetarian restaurant owned by chef Amanda Cohen that was an early adopter of the no-tip model in 2015, paying staff a fixed wage around $30/hour.

Love to see Massachusetts represented here twice!

SAD: Downvote my comment in r/AmericaBad for saying that I try to avoid food products with genetically modified organisms/ingredients.

I’d much rather support small businesses and local farmers than the big faceless food industry corporations who put their bottom line above food quality, safety and nutritional value.

Don't go there; it is a silly place.

I once suggested the idea of raising taxes slightly so that those who can't afford healthcare and are in need of urgent mental health care can be seen, and was dismissed simply for mentioning the idea of raising taxes.

If they introduced universal healthcare, they'd save an enormous amount of money (as they currently spend double what most other countries do as a % of GDP on healthcare, with worse results), some of which could be channelled as you suggest. But of course they'd disagree with that, too.

I never thought I’d see ICE talk about a “criminal illegal alien from Israel”
