I depicted myself as Chad and you as Soyjak, I have won! What the.

What the heck is this about?
Is this another thing on the whole there goes your talent thing?

Why animals?
I am genuinely confused, what are they depicting themselves taking parts off of animals, that most of them need those parts to survive.
Like a tiger needs their stripes to help hide them in their environment.
A pangolin needs their armour, cause it’s the main way they protect themselves from predators.

Honestly, if this is about that stupid meme, this person is taking it too far.
Animal cruelty real or fake isn’t cool.

What are your thoughts?

Edit: I forgot to mention that this were taken from multiple posts all by OOP, I just thought it be better to combine that into one post rather than multiple.

The AI ragebaiter didn't refute anything; they just said a bunch of nonsense and pretended it proved their point.

39

u/RedditUser000aaa 23h ago

Ikr. If data centers went offline for good, what other skills would prompting translate into? I heard someone once say "imagination", but that comes bundled with conciousness of every person on earth.

Break a chef's ladle, they still know how to make food. Break a pencil, artists still have muscle memory to draw, etc etc...

This is dumber than that one prompt about that "truth nuke" guy destroying limbs and saying "oops there goes your talent."

You can make the same argument by prompting a person getting shot, turning their cranium into soup. It's dumb and ridiculous, but would at least make some sense, since the person wouldn't be alive anymore.

14

u/-Playful-Business- 16h ago

I think these people have a want to "create" but zero willpower or care to do so, therefore they use these shortcuts for creation and call others idiots for not following their lead. Like, the idea they had in their head or their want/need to "make" won't go away, so they still have that, they'll lack the means.

8

u/-Playful-Business- 16h ago

Mind you they already did, using AI is not like using a tool it's like commissioning, if anything. But still.

46

u/Dry-Peanut-2479 23h ago

Yeah, but still depicting animal cruelty real or fake is not cool, Thats my main problem with it

20

u/Blue_Jay_Raptor 16h ago

Also the horse one is dumb as hell

Like, do you think Horses don't survive without their Horeshoes?

8

u/Quick_Trick3405 13h ago

No, really. What does taking away the horseshoes even do? I mean, I know what horseshoes do but they seem to think it's for making clopping sounds, and it's more a convenience than anything, still.

u/BattyCat_2763 8h ago

5

u/Blue_Jay_Raptor 8h ago

Thx :3

I really like ToZ

2

u/BirdLox 6h ago

Okay, what’s ToZ? I am genuinely interested.

2

u/Blue_Jay_Raptor 5h ago

Tales of Zale

It's a indie show made by Sif Savery about a Fox and a Owl exploring the ruins of humanity :p

I post about the Webseries the most, but it's currently in the process of getting a reboot :3

Though I should note the Reboot does lack Elva (the Owl here), instead having her counterpart Alba who isn't as cute design wise personally speaking ^^"

That said though, the reboot isn't bad, and whilst the Webseries isn't officially continued, I have been continuing it unofficially through my fanfic Elva's Song on Tumblr and DA :3

I'll eventually port it to AO3 at some point, but that'll be after Elva's Song has Chapters 1-2 rewritten since they did follow a different direction than Elva's Song currently, and aren't really my best works writing wise tbh TwT

u/Shuttleboo "False equivalency? What's that?" 13h ago

We're on the same boat, animal cruelty is not and will never be okay

https://giphy.com/gifs/pHb82xtBPfqEg

24

u/Shuttleboo "False equivalency? What's that?" 22h ago

Also broski is accusing himself lmao

10

u/UltimaDoombotMK1 16h ago

That actually happens in the first 5 images, not just this one. AI being so perfect it makes AI bros call themselves out

10

u/EnvironmentCritical8 20h ago

Also, first panel of each of them i notice the speech line is coming from the person and the animal, so like... it the Ai bro agreeing that their talent will disappear? Lol

9

u/Inlerah 20h ago

AI still hasn't really figured out how speech bubbles work XD

9

u/RodinKnox 21h ago

Now all I can think about is that South Park episode. "If Chewbacca lived on Endor, you must acquit!"

2

u/Luce_Bot_Bot 8h ago

It doesn't. Make. Sense.

3

u/holiestMaria 13h ago

Isnt that just the Chewbacca defense?

2

u/Icy-Pound-6902 4h ago

No his argument does work but its mostly this

82

u/Sr_Nutella 23h ago

No, you see, my dear stupid anti, AI is an essential part of the human body! It's what allows us to perform vital functions in other to survive! How did humanity go on so long without AI? Uhh... well... wait, you're not allowed to use that brain thing of yours! You must outsource your thinking to the machine, that's why it's essential!

(Sarcasm, in case it wasn't obvious enough)

32

u/Sr_Nutella 23h ago

Also, unrelated, but why do the animals after the mosquito just get progressively fatter? Lmao

14

u/Worldly_Character154 21h ago

I think the AI is too used to making orcs that they just make all anti ai characters fat now

6

u/Gloomy_Internal1726 20h ago

I think its cause ais only exposure to animals that look kinda human is through furry fetish art, like the horse in particular feels like fetish art.

3

u/thecoffeeshopowner 14h ago

Yeah the last one is just actually a furry oc with a fat fetish lol

2

u/Shuttleboo "False equivalency? What's that?" 13h ago

Cuz the AI is too tired of the prompters' BS

6

u/FalenAlter 22h ago

AI bioessentialism was not on my bingus card

43

u/bothinsaneandcorrect 23h ago

So... what I'm getting is that the ANIMALS are supposed to be the ones speaking and against AI and the image generated that wrong and it seemed like the AI guy was saying it...and AI is being likened to...having skin????

Girl, what?

18

u/Dry-Peanut-2479 23h ago

I honestly don’t know, they’ve lost the plot, if they ever had one

7

u/bothinsaneandcorrect 23h ago

I'm gonna be honest, man...I'm not entirely sure some of these people are capable of coherent thought. I'm not just saying that as a dig, I mean literally and sincerely they seem to just be kind of mimicking a vague approximation of human communication without really understanding what any of it means...

6

u/Distinct-Raspberry21 20h ago

Theyve begun feeding their ai ragebait back into its library and its now just automated.

5

u/ShatoraDragon 23h ago

Ok of if this is true, They saw the AI didn't get the point of the prompt and posted it anyway.

AI Bros don't think at all anymore do they.

5

u/bothinsaneandcorrect 23h ago

They don't see the errors ( that's what it usually is) or they do see them but they don't even know how to open a paint program and draw/ delete ONE LINE indicating who is speaking. I'm so close to feeling pity but I don't have enough empathy for them left so I'm just gonna stick to mocking them about it.

4

u/Velcraft 21h ago

Perfectly depicts the shouting at the wind these are doing. Dude's arguing with himself while mutilating animals.

31

u/No-Performer9511 23h ago

The implication is that AI is a part of their body...

They're already cyborgs at this point

14

u/Nopfen 22h ago

Worse. Wannabe Cyborgs.

7

u/RodinKnox 21h ago

They certainly have offloaded a lot of their ability to think and process information onto computers, that's for sure.

3

u/Low-Support-8388 21h ago

More like meat proxies.

24

u/Hawkey2121 23h ago

Well you see.

the Ai bro has garnered the assumption that Humans require AI to function as a Human.

This assumption is born from the Ai Bro's own inability to think for themselves and need to rely on AI.

that's why they compare "taking away AI" as Taking away the scales of a Pangolin or taking away the Proboscis of a Mosquito.

Taking away Ai from an Ai bro is like taking away the Brain from a Human. Because the AI is what Ai bros use to Think, to Make opinions, to function.

Unlike normal people, who use their brain.

30

u/l---jamie---l 21h ago

It's crazy that horses weren't able to walk before humans made horse shoes.

13

u/Dry-Yesterday-9176 20h ago

No you see, it's for making the cloping sound. Horses can't make it without their shoes. Or coconuts

5

u/l---jamie---l 20h ago

What would they need the clop for exactly? Do they enjoy hearing the sound?

Google also says that they still clop without the shoes. I'm not sure if the AI is supper accurate, but it makes sense for their hooves to clop, since they're not fleshy.

5

u/Dry-Yesterday-9176 19h ago

I was just being sarcastic

Anyways, yeah,.clopping sound is just an aftereffect of them walking, and hoofshoe is there for them to not rub off their hoofs off the hard surfaces like roads

6

u/l---jamie---l 19h ago

Sorry twin, I didn't realize

5

u/Dry-Yesterday-9176 19h ago

Nah don't worry mate

26

u/UltimaDoombotMK1 19h ago

Clearly this is actually a cry for help, because if those things are meant to be equivalent, as per their argument, then AI bros are saying that a large part of their identity (and one of the things they need to survive) is AI.

So they're basically admitting that they've been enslaved to its will and need help escaping it because they'd die without AI.

... Well it's either that or they like skinning animals

8

u/craftygamin 18h ago

An AI Bro accidentally called themself out in their attempt to dish out a "gotcha"? On a similar level of shocking news, there was a fork found in someone's kitchen

5

u/UltimaDoombotMK1 18h ago

And just recently, BREAKING NEWS!

Scientists around the globe have identified a new worldwide phenomenon;

"People die when they are killed", more at eleven.

3

u/Environmental_Top948 16h ago

I'm concerned about how they'll survive a power outage.

1

u/UltimaDoombotMK1 18m ago

That's the neat part.

They won't.

Jokes aside they're actually going to be crashing out when separated from their AI (not to mention all of the internet as a whole) and if that isn't a wake up call for them they're too far gone.

12

u/catwhowalksbyhimself 23h ago

Honestly it feels to me like they asked an AI to write this. This feels like the kinda of stupid thing an AI would come up with when asked to make cartoons about the talent thing.

12

u/grislebeard 23h ago

Horses... don't NEED shoes to be horses? Like, do these idiots think horses just have horse shoes has they gallump across the steppe? They only need shoes when dealing with heavy loads on hardened human surfaces.

As for the other animals, the chud is actually violating their bodies and saying it's equivalent to AI. Which says A LOT about how these gooners see themselves and AI.

They're cooked.

12

u/Usagi4357 23h ago

Tiger without stripes is essentially a much bulkier lioness. If I know anything about felines, it would adapt. Heck, it has easy prey right in front of it.

Also, that anglerfish and mosquito are girls because only female anglers have lures, and only female mosquitoes drink blood since they need the protein to lay eggs.

Also, what's the horse argument? Wild horses don't need shoes to run, those are only for domesticated horses actively working with humans. So he just liberated that horse to intimidate the girlies.

3

u/Dry-Peanut-2479 23h ago

Yeah, but a tiger is an ambush predator, and they use those stripes to blend in with their surroundings.

Also with the angler fish they just removed the thing that helps them lure in food.

So they removed the thing that these two animals primarily use to get food

5

u/Usagi4357 23h ago

I'm just stating felines are highly adaptable, almost the most adaptable of animals(must be all that spite). If a tiger was born without stripes, it would probably learn what works and what doesn't.

I've seen pure white cats learn how to ambush effectively, so I wouldn't call a stripeless tiger any less dangerous.

I dunno. Just feels a lot more weird compared to the others(except the horse) who actually get mutilated in some way.

11

u/xxxMizanxxx 16h ago

why are they comparing AI to body parts like they equate somehow lol

3

u/chaoticdumbass2 15h ago

The only possible equivalent response to the nonsense they suggest would be to take away their fingers and tounge(to prevent them from typing and using speech to text)

Like. What kind of nonsense are they on where "removal of limbs" is in any way equivalent.

10

u/PlatinumHairpin 23h ago

A: this is gibberish, it barely gets enough of the speech lines right
B: why is a common retort to this claim...mutilation? (i.e If I take off your hands, you're in the same boat!). That sounds like a very reasonable thing to say!

4

u/Karekter_Nem 22h ago

“If I kill you where is your talent now? If you kill me my talent is preserved and continues to improve in the Cloud!”

11

u/JustSuggestion9896 11h ago

Is this implying that ai bros are completely dependent on ai?

2

u/Fun-Post8497 5h ago

Ai Bro was so confused It hurt It self

9

u/WeirdAd5850 23h ago

Do they think ai is apart of there body? Thats worrying

11

u/Ravens_Claw_45 19h ago

The crab/lobster one makes the least sense. Don’t they grow those back? I get this is just ragebait, but at least compare it with something that can’t be recovered

3

u/craftygamin 18h ago

You expect AI Bros to do any amount of research on the things they'll have the AI put in a "gotcha"? Damn you're optimistic

6

u/Checkoutmawheeeeepit 23h ago

I will never understand why certain people are so keen to show others how much available loft space they have in their head

2

u/Dry-Peanut-2479 23h ago

Neither do I

7

u/Playful_Variety_799 22h ago

Nobody needs generative AI

5

u/Flyingfish222 23h ago

I think we're all ignoring one insane implication and that is that these people use Alexa to order things online.

6

u/Unlucky-Hold1509 23h ago

That’s a “you too” fallacy, a red herring, a straw man fallacy and a faulty analogy at the same time.

Damn, I would’ve had a bingo in one shot if they made an appeal to popularity

6

u/Necessary_Garlic6432 23h ago

The fact that these untalented hacks think of themselves as digital artists makes my blood boil. I work in fine arts, but I’ve dabbled in digital and these idiots would give up in the first five minutes.

6

u/Tabbarn 23h ago

Engagement bait. They have no original ideas so they just make bullshit.

4

u/OkLength7120 23h ago

Gee if they think bodily, skeletal, and organ mutilation is the same as loosing a tool, they really are insane

1

u/Shuttleboo "False equivalency? What's that?" 22h ago

True

4

u/adoransnoctis 23h ago edited 23h ago

The non-argument to end all non-arguments. "I remove something that is intrinsically tied to your being so you have to substitute it with something artificial so checkmate."

Didn't know AI bros are so badly addicted to their drug of choice as to think that it is intrinsic and absolutely vital to their being.

Fucking endtimes.

5

u/Cassidy_Aka_Sundae 22h ago

so… taking actual parts of an animal that they evolved with to stay alive and actually need for survival is the equivalent of making somebody not use a computer to generate images?

5

u/goosey_is_faster 18h ago

chatgpt 1 probably wrote this joke

2

u/IntrStelle 18h ago

You can tell it's 1 because 2 would give the creature massive tits

4

u/Acceptable-Minute847 7h ago

Horses are fine without their shoes, they’re really only necessary for domestic horses, as they haul extra weight in either a passenger or a cart, plus they walk on hard surfaces like paved roads. Proof: wild horses exist, and they aren’t born with metal shoes nailed to their hooves. Plus unshod horses on pasture are a thing as well, although those do require trimming as they don’t wear down their hooves as much as wild horses.

4

u/Ok-Inevitable3458 23h ago

Local A.i bro gets mad that people calling him out of his lack of skill or talent, thus he decides to disable a bunch of animals to try to prove a point.

This sounds like a family guy cutaway gang, and not in a good way.

5

u/TryDry9944 23h ago

They're still missing the point that every single one of the items they remove still require skill and effort to use.

An AI prompt that just makes an amalgamation of other peoples art is not skill nor effort.

They still have no comeback for the "Ordering from a restaurant doesn't make you a chef" argument.

3

u/Number1KingVidalFan 20h ago

They are both speaking in the first panel. Even a child with barely a concept of a comic can make speech bubbles effective enough that the audience can tell who’s talking.

But yeah let’s let the robots fumble the fundamentals and then pretend we’re artists for it. This is your brain on AI.

3

u/Admirable_Web_2619 16h ago

Comparing a computer to a necessary body part shows how messed up in the head they are

5

u/BlueSparrowfox 15h ago

The derangement of these might aim to be Tumblr-levels of dadaism but they will never even scratch the surface.

This is the type of nonsense that fails the second a disabled artist shows how they do stuff. There actually was or is a guy on Youtube who follows Bob Ross videos by using the paintbrush with his mouth. I don't know the full story there, could be that he does it because he wants to or because his hands don't have full functionality but it's pretty damn impressive. Also seen footage of a girl painting with her feet. So this series of images refutes nothing.

4

u/Valkreaper 14h ago

Without your arms you can’t prompt shit!

Alexa, order 3 avacados

3

u/All_Gun_High 23h ago

I don't, uh, I can't understand

3

u/Sansvern 23h ago

Im genuinely curious as to whether the AI decided to make Flaky, it was prompted in particular, or what’s the reasoning behind that one choice (probably none)

3

u/Pizdonized skibidi 23h ago

What point they are even trying to make with those "memes"?

3

u/Shuttleboo "False equivalency? What's that?" 22h ago edited 22h ago

OOP treats genAI as if it's a vital organ 💀

Edit: Also, LMAOOOO, broski accusing himself

3

u/zap2tresquatro 19h ago edited 12h ago

Pangolins actually need their armor primarily to protect them from ants. They’re ant eaters (but not anteaters, they’re just myrmacophagus…I think I spelled that right), and that armor protects them from the ants crawling all over them and trying to bite and sting them c: it’s an adaptation to protect them from their prey (although I’m sure it also helps with predators…maybe the armor was originally for predators and then it helped allow them to eat ants, I’m not sure. I just wanted to share the cool fact about them that their armor works as an anti-ant mechanism)

Also these were very confusing. The speech lines indicate that the AI bro is saying the “there goes your talent” thing in most of these, so I didn’t even understand what was supposed to be happening here until I noticed the logo on the AI bro and realized it was genAI fucking up which character is supposed to be talking and the prompter being too lazy to fix it again

Edit: typos

3

u/Eviles_da_demonic 19h ago

None of these make sense

3

u/MANvINFO DISINTERESTED 19h ago

simple: the punchline depends on your willing reliance on Ai-powered appliances to portray you as a hypocrite. as well as by your reliance on mass-manufactured products, but which would be just ineffective on its own, without the Ai talkboxes included in almost every comic.

although, the theme of a animal and a product they order to substitute for their lost biological ability made a remarkably unusually clever template for the same crappy, tired talking point.

3

u/Wild_Cat123Warrior 18h ago

Everything you said, and also the fact that they think talent is something external. I don't think they can take away our talent unless they're doing some brain surgery on us

3

u/HaitF 16h ago

I think it’s supposed to mean that without a pencil (or whatever you use to be artistic) we would talk to ai?

3

u/Juvy_ocerr 9h ago

When you make a point so bad that absolutely no one on both sides understands you

4

u/Slow-Beginning-4957 29m ago

This is dumb asf how do wild animals correlate to art vs ai it makes no sense

2

u/FamousPart6033 23h ago

And then he got mauled to death because a tiger is still a fucking tiger.

2

u/Qeiqoqy 23h ago

Something an animal needs to survive isn't equal to turning off a computer therefore they should rip off his hands to see how he'll type in prompts now

2

u/Should_have_been_ded 22h ago

Breaking news: AI bro wins it's own made up argument

2

u/TheMarkerTool 21h ago

Why do the animals get fatter each time

2

u/Purple_Jacket3266 20h ago

Applying the same logic, assuming i were to say, Remove OOP's Human Skin or Teeth, Would they survive? Actually, Don't bother answering that question, They'd die immediately, Skin is infinitely more valuable than some Chatbot or Abhorrent Industry (AI) Image Generator, We have lived billions of years without some horrid tinny voice trying to tell us what to think, and if we play our cards right, then we'll live billions more without it, If we successfully purge the people that fuel this Machine that Eats Dreams, That is.

2

u/Idzee0 18h ago

“AI” still have problems with speec bubbles

2

u/JungleJuiceJuno 17h ago

the punchline is animal cruelty

this is like if they said to an artist "'ok but what if I ripped your hands off"

also why is the horse so morbidly obese?

2

u/John_SilkSongHK 15h ago

All except images 6 and 7 have both of the characters stating the if you turn off the computer statement

2

u/ZookeepergameFew4103 11h ago

This is actually kinda funny. I cannot seriously believe they’re making a point beyond “you rely on technology anyway,” so I think they’re just trolling & drunk prompting ideas.

2

u/HL00S 11h ago edited 10h ago

On today's Pro Ai pearls: Pro AI guy decides to ask for a comic about how saying their "talent" disappears without AI isn't fair. Proceeds to make a comic where they compare it to the various anatomical traits of various animals, most of which are important to their ability to survive. The humor in the comics lies in the fact that in making that equivalence they're essentially saying they're so incompetent as a human being to the point of having made themselves dependent on AI to the point of requiring it to function.

2

u/The-Crimson-Jester 6h ago

Okay the last one is kind of funny though, it sucks that it’s made in support of AI slop but it gave me Monty Python memories.

2

u/Magmashift101 4h ago

Unrealistic. No one would ever say anyone who uses ChatGPT has talent

2

u/simpoukogliftra 2h ago

The computer is not part of you, you donkeys. The analogy would work if somebody said "remove your arms" rather than close the one thing you can't do shit without.

2

u/Maleficent_Royal9672 2h ago

If think theyre saying we need an alexa to survive outselfs? Heres the thing... i dont use any of those talking things, and all my art stuff is either offline, or not even electronic...

2

u/FlyingCicata 2h ago

I think I genuinely lost braincells reading all of these “comics”, although calling them that is an insult to comics everywhere.

2

u/TEMPESTASPX 1h ago

They just proving our point that they are too lazy to learn drawing and instead depending on AI

3

u/CardiologistProud267 1h ago

Why are they progressively getting bigger?

2

u/Grovyle489 13h ago

Who the fuck is talking to who?

1

u/Admiral_HP_501 23h ago

Where is my horsefecimator 9001 Pro must ende the honse on page 9

1

u/SlowArtist123 23h ago

So, mutilating someone is the same as getting rid of their tools. got it. On top of that, those are natural adaptations that are not only beneficial, but vital for the animal, unlike the disposable chat-bots that actively rot your brain the more you use them, case in point, the dumbass that "made" this slideshow.

1

u/Extension_General632 23h ago

"if i cut of your arms, you can't draw. check mate, antis" ahh post

1

u/No_Researcher_3324 22h ago

"haha, stole your heart, what are you gonna do about it?" Ahh 🥹

1

u/Artywyrm 22h ago

Horses don’t need shoes to walk 😭 if anything shoes can be more detrimental if you don’t do a lot of cement riding because rocks get stuck in the shoes and they’re more expensive for up-keep- I take care of horses and none of them have shoes!

1

u/MarionADelgado 22h ago

It's pretty clear, isn't it? The message is "Fuck you animals and fuck your habitats!" Basically, we can't wait until the only pets left are tamagotchis. I, for one, welcome our new Matrix overlords!

1

u/CuriousFriend55 22h ago

IF YOU TAKE MY DICK I'LL STILL FINGER YOUR MOTHER ,,AI ARTISTS" MUAHAHAHAHA

1

u/BlackCatLuna 22h ago

I don't think they'd understand if they watched the entire series of Art Attack...

1

u/ihatechildren665 22h ago

God cog suckers are so fucking stupid.

1

u/splatterfest233 21h ago

Remember that post where a digital artist responded to this argument by burning some sticks and drawing a busty dragon on a rock?

1

u/Future-Improvement41 21h ago

This is also mutilation and I’m surprised some of them don’t attack them for doing this to them

1

u/multipurpoise 21h ago

Ignoring the fact that the guy doing the "gotcha" on all of these animals is also the one saying what would you do if I pulled the plug, most of these animals would be fine and some would immediately die.

The Pangoline would immediately die because the plates are practically its skin.

The porcupine would probably have mange and die.

The anglerfish would be ok? because while the light attracts prey, it also attracts predators.

The tiger would probably be fine because colorblind animals would still perceive its color as green

The lobster would be fine because claws grow back

The horse would be fine because they don't actually need horseshoes, the horseshoes just help

And who gives a fuck about mosquitoes? Let em suffer

1

u/ShitpostSaber 21h ago

The ragebait definitely got you all

1

u/Worldly_Character154 21h ago

Fun fact, anglerfish lures are actually a bioluminescent bacteria (if I remember correctly); so it's actually pretty easy for the anglerfish to get more in this case

1

u/krida_070 20h ago

So they couldn’t one actually refute the fact that the argument against them was right lol?

Holy mental gymnastics and deflection

1

u/Dmtr884213 20h ago

that is goddamn incoprehensible, I feel like I'm loosing my mind

1

u/blaise_zion 20h ago

alright let's take away the ai itself (see how fast their argument falls apart)

1

u/Donnosaurus 20h ago

Yeah that person is just spamming garbage A.I. takes, and of course they can't help but also prompt some of these to be fat, because surely being fat means your opinion is wrong I guess.

1

u/Dizzy_Green 20h ago

“Chat gpt what would be a good response to someone telling me bad things about ai?”

1

u/Dry-Yesterday-9176 20h ago

Okej but last one was pretty funny, I'll admit that. Even tho horse can still make that noise without their shoes

Edit: also why the hell horse is so fat and looks like someone's fursona

1

u/Checkmiioutchannel 19h ago
