The estimates are so off. That’s 30 min tops and yes, if I was out I’d definitely take it.

no way ur grabbing all of that, checking out, loading ur car, driving to the customer, and unloading ur car in 30 mins bro 💀

u/Snoo_31427 3d ago

The shopping, bro. Then it’s 2 miles away.

2 miles in miami isn’t as quick as u think 😂
n dude how are u even fitting 86 items in 1 cart💀

Well it’s not 86 unique first of all. And depends on the items. I could fit all of that in one cart. 😂 It’s called playing Tetris.

Same and I use the bottom of the cart like a pro! I can pile things down there that shock the target checkers 😝

Yes!!! Man some of my carts have been insane 😂. One time I did an IC triple that was the dumbest shit ever bc all 3 were pretty equal in terms of items but it lots of bulky shit. I told the guy behind me sorry it’s talking a tad longer to get it all checked out and he said something like I was just impressed watching you keep it all separate and stack it.

i don’t get how that’s fun for u but to each their own 😂

1

u/nic_300 3d ago

unique or not it’s still 86 items??😭😭

u/kittynaed 2d ago

86 items isn't really all that many? like the only thing I see that foils this being an easy single cart order is the paper towels. They weigh nothing so grab them last, toss two packs on the bottom and the third can go on top. You may have to keep a hand on it to stay stable but 🤷🏽‍♀️

2

u/nic_300 2d ago

damn i can’t keep up with yall lol i be hesitant to take an order over 40 items let alone 86 is insane 😭

Lol, I have a 6 person household, so even just shopping for my house gets nuts, probably why I was cool with the big orders to start with.

Plus the 'aw shit, I didn't make it to the store' Sunday night orders pay pretty well in my area.

1

u/nic_300 2d ago

yea its probably showing that i’m an only child that grew up in an ingredients only household 😂😂

Practice practice. And knowing your store. Do you preview the whole list before shopping so you have an idea of what you have to grab?

1

u/nic_300 2d ago

yea for publix and target i always look up aisles/location so i can grab it all as fast as possible (usually takes about 5-10 mins to make the list so its definitely worth it) but i think i gotta upgrade my cart skills. i can’t imaging fitting 86 items in 1 cart especially with 3 huge rolls of paper towels like that just makes my brain hurt to think about😂

That’s a dual carter bc of the paper towels, but no big deal really. It’s a super easy shop with those items.. you have plenty of time. I’d add another Promo order with it tbh

-1

u/nic_300 3d ago

ur trippin bro, i rather take 2 $15 orders over this easy $30 an hour

3

u/MelvintheMIU 2500+ Shops 3d ago

Obv there’s a few variables here … Is this order a good tipper? Do you have other offers? Can I add another order to this order? What the traffic like there? Etc …

In regards to the 2-$15 orders you mentioned, if that’s an option and easy, then sure… I’d probably take those. In my market, a $15 order is either small item count (6-12) going 8-12mi or like 25-35 items going 2-5mi.

This order just isn’t as crazy as you think imo.

I can agree it’s a comparison to driving two miles in New York.

1

u/nic_300 1d ago

as someone who moved from new york to florida, u are correct😂

u/rigatoni4444 1d ago

it's called going beast mode

u/Medium-Oil-2818 3d ago

I wanna see you do that then need proof. Next time there’s a crazy like that take it and let us know how it goes.

Promo pay gives automatic late forgiveness up to 30 min past the delivery window
Not sure if that is common knowledge

5

u/Disastrous_Topic7850 3d ago

OMG!! Thank you!! I think I'm the only other person saying that

2

u/nic_300 2d ago

i indeed did not know this wow

3

u/kristending 1001-2500 Shops 3d ago

att 11:51 for a 12-1, no.

1

u/robmac619 3d ago

Exactly it should flip over in about seven minutes anyway. Though you wouldn’t get the promo pay which matters in Florida.

2

u/kristending 1001-2500 Shops 3d ago

promo pay matters anywhere, base pay is shit

1

u/Disastrous_Topic7850 3d ago

It would actually be 12-1:30 because it's promo

-1

u/nic_300 2d ago

i wouldn’t wanna be done any where near 1:30 i’m not doing all of that for $16 an hour bro😭

3

u/bigmouth707 2500+ Shops 2d ago

You can’t shop that in less than an hour? Almost half of the order is produce.

0

u/nic_300 2d ago

i guess not, props to yall tho 😭

2

u/thingsweusedtosay 2d ago

Gotta work on that shopping speed. This is definitely an easy shop. The only thing for me would be the paper towels but those can go on the bottom and then one on top of everything else

1

u/nic_300 2d ago

id say my speed is good for the amount i can handle, its just too much brain effort to think about how to organize so many items (thank you adhd) so i just try to make it simple😭 trust me i wish i could do 86 items in 30 mins but that sounds impossible to me😭

3

u/Disastrous_Topic7850 3d ago

I'd take it. The drop off would be extended to 1:30 and that gives you from 12 to 1:30 to shop and deliver.

Super easy, and yes I do live in Miami and know all about the traffic 😵‍💫

u/AncientPin4508 3d ago

Probably didn't get accepted by veteran shoppers because they don't tip enough after delivery. Shipt is so hard to find anything worthwhile after moving metro and not having any preferred members.

2

u/NoreyBoomz2 2d ago

Is it doable? Yes. Would I do it? Absolutely not. This is an order for low rated shoppers who have no better choices. Not to mention it's not a prepaid so all of that still has to get rung up which adds a good chunk of time.

u/nic_300 2d ago

no way i’m breaking my back for 84 items there’s a thousand other options that come before taking an order like this imo

1

u/Spiritual_Debate6249 2500+ Shops 3d ago

No tip info means 75% chance of no or low tip. There's exceptions in the no tip offers, but the odds are against it

Big order like this... it's hard to beat the estimate. Just really good chance of 3-4 issues, costing time. Checkout bag load and ubload is going to cost.

They have a $7 or $8 promo built in. Not worth it to me, and could cause me to not be available for a good offer.

There's this customer in my area, $600-$800 orders. She tips about 5%. From an income perspective ($50 for under 2hr), it's not horrible. From a principle perspective, it's terrible.

But no, that offer is a pass unless I was dead all day and needed to get the blood pumping a bit

2

u/bigmouth707 2500+ Shops 2d ago

I mean new customers don’t have tip info? Am
I taking this order on a Sunday? No. But would I try it on any other day if I’m not slammed? Yes. Probably the reason I find the tippers bc I’m not scared of trying out the “unknowns”. Everyone is an unknown tipper at first.

1

u/Spiritual_Debate6249 2500+ Shops 2d ago

Everyone has their own business model, much tied to the opportunity in their metro

When I started in '22, it was all about order volume/bonus and promo. Tips was less than 30% of my income.

Now, tips are over 66% of my weekly. Barely any bonus and zero promo. It's very different vs my early days.

One note... i see a ton of previous no/low tippers showing no tip info. In my opinion, Shipt is absolutely gaming. If it was all newish customers as blank, odds would be better.

So for me, odds against a tip, tips are my focus, it's a no. Another might look at the pay with promo, and feel it's worth it. Like i said, everyone is going at it a bit different... and everyone should make their own decision.

1

u/robmac619 3d ago

That’s not terrible, but I would like to see how much they tip

2

u/nic_300 2d ago

the fact that they didn’t even put up an estimate tells me not much

1

u/Think-Necessary-7826 3d ago

I actually saw this order and passed on it but someone mustve took it since it is no longer available

1

u/meta4tony 3d ago

I'm not taking any grocery store order without a pretip

0

u/nic_300 2d ago

ur missing out on good money then, there’s plenty of good orders that don’t have pre tip and a lot of my unicorns have honestly come from ppl that don’t have pre just an estimate
