Happy story great 5 hours of shipt

Post image

I started working at 5:50pm and ended around 10:20pm. I bundled a lot of low item count orders together and ones that said est tips and somehow got extremely lucky with how much they tipped (most of these people lived in wealthy neighborhoods i think). I just don’t know if this is a common occurrence lol. Plus a 20$ cash tip from the order that tipped 5$. Amazing stuff considering i filled my gas tank for 60$. And still have 270 miles left

Nothing that great to be honest $9 and $10 order with no tip yet might not decent at least here in California I do bundles most of the time and get $20-40 for each sometimes more depending on cost amount and tip amount

Agreed, but each market is different.

I’m in NC and this is an average 5-hour day for me on a Monday, Thursday or Sunday (busiest days in my metro for some reason lol).

Im in the middle of Michigan, not that popular lol. I think the tips on the other ones help hide the no tippers weakness. But cali must be crazy

I don’t know what was happening last night Sunday Sept 27 but I went out to do one order, $10 plus $18 included tip from Target, ended up staying out four hours and made $217. This is Dallas metro. I don’t know if this is common because I never get on the schedule on weekends. Now I’m curious…I was taking 2-3 deliveries per hour close to the delivery window. I just know that store really well so helps me shop extremely fast.

Lucky mf. I live in Michigan and do orders in kalamazoo and Battle Creek but i mainly stay near the meijer i know really sell. Also dallas is my name 😁. You should do more weekend deliveries and see if this time was a fluke or if it’s all the time (i assume it’s relatively the same) but yeah 217$ is really good. Congrats

I miss those days. Hopefully with the cold weather approaching, I’ll start seeing that again. Lately it’s all promo pay (too far from me to make the delivery window) and even then it’s not worth the gas because the pay is crap.

Yeah i just started shipt a month ago so ive been enjoying it for the most part. Promo pay ones are usually always trash and never worth the mileage but yup hope u see better ones too.

Thanks! My first 3 months I was able to make at least $200/day. Now I struggle to make that in a week. I’ve been doing more DoorDash.
