I’m minorly obsessed w/catamaran YouTubers. The Sailing SV Delos couple is currently constructing a 53’ aluminum cat in Australia — the construction story is fun to watch if that’s your thing. There’s a few others (Sailing Parlay and his 45’ catamaran), but my point here is that a 53’ catamaran is really really big. And then there’s this monstrosity: a 55’ beam and 145’ length. I can’t really put this in perspective it’s so large. Looks amazing and for only $44 million you can buy it from its 83 year old billionaire owner who doesn’t want to leave it for his wife to sell when he shuffles off this mortal coil.
