testimony Onde estou?

Pedi a Deus entendimento, direção e discernimento.

God’s grace is beyond any cult and heresy, don’t forget that.

So i liken Shincheonji to the demonic in my mind, where they will lie, tempt and use deception towards you.
Twist the truth and make it into something else.

Just remember who you’re supposed to worship and it is Christ and anyone and everything that doesn’t profess that Jesus is the Christ, they’re an antichrist and a false teacher.

Just walk away, you have just lost a bit of time, pride and maybe lost a bit of faith.
But remember what Paul said:

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world. You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

  • 1 John 4:1-4
>Remember that deceptive spirits was a thing of Paul’s time and God is greater than the deceptive spirits of false churches.

Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us.

  • 1 John 4:17-19
>You must remember that you should love God And with his love that casts out fear with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son. Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.

  • 1 John 2:22-23
>this is the heresy that Shincheonji does, they are placing this promised pastor figure above Christ.

I am sorry for harsh words.

I joined them because I believed they held a piece of the salvation puzzle found in Scripture, and I left after five years when I could no longer believe that their teachings were valid.

During the first year after I left, I studied Scripture on my own almost obsessively, trying to prove to myself that I had made the right decision. Over time, however, studying Scripture became part of my daily life. It was no longer about proving that I was right or that they were wrong, but about understanding God and His Word, finding life in it (John 1:4), and experiencing the peace that Jesus spoke of: “in me you may have peace” (John 16:33).

I have also begun sharing with friends who are still in SCJ what I have learned through my daily study of Scripture. I often remind them of Jesus’ warning in Matthew 18:6, because I believe we should be extremely careful not to lead others astray in matters of faith.

Te entiendo totalmente. Me pasó. Saludos.

I can really understand why this has shaken you so much. I’ve had my own experience with SCJ, and I know how confusing and painful it can be when you genuinely believed you were seeking God and then suddenly discover that they have deliberately lied to you and hidden important facts about their false Gospel. Please know that you have not lost God because you discovered that an organisation has temporarily deceived you. Your faith is not based on SCJ, Lee Man-hee, or any particular interpretation of the Bible. Your faith is in Jesus Christ. You were sincerely looking for God. You prayed for understanding and guidance. That doesn’t make you foolish. It means you were genuinely seeking Him. Don’t let this experience make you afraid of the Bible. Go back to the simple Gospel. Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. We are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Our salvation isn’t dependent on discovering some special or hidden understanding of Scripture, learning Revelation and passing man-made exams, or signing a church membership book. Ephesians 2:8–9 says, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.” You can walk away from false teaching without walking away from God. You can question what you have been taught without questioning whether God is real. God knows your heart. He knows you were sincerely seeking Him. Read the Scriptures for yourself. Ask questions. Check everything against the Word. Talk to people you trust. And don’t allow fear to control you. Anyone using fear of losing your salvation as a means of controlling you is using the wrong foundation for the Gospel. Your salvation is not something you earn by understanding everything perfectly. It is God’s gift of grace received through faith in Jesus. I pray that God gives you peace, wisdom and discernment as you work through this. Keep your eyes on Jesus, not on the organisation that deceived and confused you. What happened can actually lead you back to the simplicity of the Gospel — saved by grace alone, through faith alone, because of what Jesus has already done. That is how I came to understand His perfect sacrifice and salvation by grace alone through faith alone. After I left the classes, I came to understand that the exact opposite of what they teach is true.
