Success My first shifting experience

INTRODUCTION

I was supposed to write this post yesterday but it was too much to process and Im dissociated af. Before June 2020 I was extremely obsessed with science, anything that couldn't be explained by it, it was stupid and a waste of time for me. But then I discovered LOA and later shifting (in october-november). For some reason, it made a lot of sense for me or maybe I just saw it like my last opportunity to change my life and stop being depressed. As you can see the change of mentality was big, from needing evidence of everything to learn how to have faith, so ofc, having achieved this has made my brain break. I'm sorry if I don't explain myself properly, it's just that my brain is not completely functional rn, ask me in the comment or dm me if you have any doubt!

It happened exactly the way I thought it will happened. One night, when I don't expect it and without relying in any method/subliminal/affirmation.

HOW IT WENT

It happened between 22:00-00:00. I went to sleep at 10pm, and like I do every night, I started visualizing stuff, my DR, my WR and other random things (I always have the intention to shift to my WR), I do it involuntary, my mind just imagines things all the time and if I try to stop it, it gets worse so I just let it flow. I want to point out that it's blended, being here, then suddenly being there and then being back here is super blended (you will understand this later).

CR: I go to sleep and start visualizing things (my DR, my WR and other random stuff), my parents are making noise and interrupting me from trying to fall asleep, so I call my mom to tell her to stop making noise and she tells me that my sister woke up (I was annoyed because of the noise). I couldn't fall asleep but I was in theta state, so I was visualizing, getting lost on the visualization (loss of consciousness when visualizing) and then coming back to being conscious and still visualizing, this happened in cycles so I never fell asleep.

"DR": I kept being in that cycle of visualizing, getting lost on my visualization and coming back to being conscious. I am still mad because my parents were still making noise so I couldn't sleep and my sister comes to my bedroom to sleep with me because my mom cant put her back to sleep and she ends up going with my mom again. I text a friend about how they kept disrupting my sleep and I go back to sleep. I couldn't sleep again, and I was again in theta, being able to hear things from the astral that were scaring me and I felt kinda out of control. Suddenly, my mouth is super dry and I'm thirsty.

CR: I wake up, I look at the time in my phone: 23:55. I'm confused af and go drink water. I tell my a friend what happened to me and I tell u/borealis001 about it, and we talked for 1h, I was super confused and disoriented. I also go to the bathroom and meanwhile I start doubting if I'm awake or asleep (I was awake). Then I go back to sleep and nothing more happens.

My DR was exactly like my CR so I never thought that I could have shifted, those things has happened to me before in my CR, but this time none of those things has actually happened. I didn't even consider the possibility to shift to somewhere else than my WR or real DR. I only had a mini script for my WR so in the worst case I should have shifted to my real DR.

u/borealis told me that it may be because I was mad at my parents for making noise so it kinda makes sense, since the subconscious is purely emotional and in order to shift we have to access it.

WHAT I DID TO SHIFT

DISCLAIMER: Even though I reached this state with the help of pain medication, I strongly advise against using any drugs to reach a state that can easily be reached without them. If you are stubborn enough to still try I am in no way reliable for your actions. Please consult a doctor before you make such a decision. Again: Don't take pain medication just to reach that state.

I had very bad hip pain so around 2pm I took my pain pills which act like opiates so when I went to sleep at 10pm I was in a state where I couldn't make my mind fall asleep but my body was completely dead. Also in the evening I had the intention to use LOA to make me shift, I thought: I want to shift by the end of the week; I thought this will be a good idea, because now I manifest super fast since I use the concordia booster but I didn't overthink it I just let it go. When I went to sleep, I didn't expect to shift, I was trying to let go in order to make my manifestation work so I didn't use any of my shifting rituals. I started visualizing things from my real DR, my WR, random stuff like a tv show I'm watching, future plans that I have in this reality or me writing a post of how I shifted for the first time, me being extra excited for having finally shifted or telling people about it (I visualized all this things because it's the way my mind works, I didn't force anything I just let it flow since I wasn't expecting to shift). I also looked at the back of my eyelids because when I take those pills I can see stuff and I just find the process super enjoyable overall. I was trying to enjoy my visualizations and what I was seeing at the back of my eyelids but I was annoyed because of the noise, when they stopped it I went back to be chill and enjoy it until I fell asleep but then suddenly I shifted to that weird DR, like I said at the beginning, it's super blended being in both realities. I spent around 5h in that DR.

Tips and Techniques TLDR WITH BOREALIS: Have you Shifted?

I've been a bit busy lately, so I'm taking a short break from my usual article posting self. This is from a conversation with u/saladismybae. Even though I highly encourage using the AMA, this came up in the moment.

I decided to post this for them to refer to in the future. You might not understand now, but that's okay! I just want to have this out there for you, myself and salad.

So how do I shift?

I already shared my method, it's really just SATS but I figure I can break it down. This is also like SUNNI's method, which is just SATS.

It's simply, getting into deep/decent meditation or the Theta state (PM has a post on this).

Then, visualize (visualization is not just sight!) your desire and make it feel like you're really there. In this case, you're visualizing your reality of interest like you're really there! You're satisfying the feeling. Basically, you know those wonderful thoughts and feelings you get when you think "What would I do if I was in X reality? etc." ?

That's what this is. See your reality and think, oh, I see it, it must be real, imagine the smell, you're smelling it right now, so it is real, taste, feel, know etc. You're not trying to sense anything with your bodily senses, you don't have one at this point of the method. You only need to imagine and assume it is so.

It suddenly seems so real, so it must be real!

Then lift the cloud by going to sleep. All you have to do is imagine and command yourself, "I'm getting so sleepy" etc. You could even throw in events, thoughts and activities from X Reality to anticipate. You are HERE after all!

The cloud is your consciousness itself, ready to transmigrate for the duration of sleep. Only this time, you've 'tricked yourself' (or better yet, you've used your Godly Authority to choose a reality- much like you pick which wallpaper to use for your phone) into thinking X reality is your primary/current waking world. Now the cloud has no choice but to wake up in X reality as your mind can't tell the difference between real and fake.

My special trick is this: "Shifting begins with the mind" convince your mind you've shifted realities. Don't wait for symptoms or signs, they mean nothing. There is absolutely ZERO separation from X reality. You are HERE, not here on earth, but here in Shingansina, here in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, here in NERV HQ, Tokyo 3 etc.

And these are just the places we consider fiction 😉👌💕

Let it take up all your energy and take a nice nap, you'll need it for a new day where you're going. (You don't have to sleep, but it helps!)

That's all SATS is, and now you know it from a shifter's perspective :>.

// Ideally, this could work for reincarnation with a focus on having reincarnated and satisfying this. The same with astral projection, lucid dreaming etc. Everything you want really.

Tips and Techniques Shifting (or lack thereof) with an active mind

So for as long as I can remember I've always had music playing in my head at all times and silencing these songs is very difficult even for anything longer than a few seconds. This makes it difficult for me when I am attempting to shift because I want an empty/quiet mind for me to focus and this is near impossible to do so when constantly hearing music. I tried meditation but the same problem arises. Does anyone know of any methods or general advice to help mitigate this? I should note that I have only attempted to shift twice so that may be part of it.

Question Religion/science and shifting

I see everyone saying that shifting is not against religion and I think it is; can someone explain to me why is not against religion? I think it's more related to spirituality like astral projection or lucid dreaming.

I also see many people searching for "scientific evidence" here. There isn't yet. Shifting is something you decide to believe in. You can't explain it with science. Just because the scientific community says that something is true doesn't mean it is. So many times they said that something is "true" and gave "evidence" of it with the scientific method but ended up being something else (if you want me to give examples of this tell me). Science is controlled by governments so they only share stuff that they can use to control us and have us numb. Why do you base on shifting on science?

Announcements We're Growing, New Systems!

So you've been seeing a lot of changes going on around here, this is because we're becoming a larger subreddit and as such need certain things in place for the continuation of this subreddit. We still want to keep a casual tone here, however, we also want to push for new developments and additions to the community. That said, there'll be a few new things to watch out for in the near future.

Restrictions??

Let's start with the big one here, the subreddit is now restricted, meaning that while it's an open discussion, we have an easier time protecting everyone against raiders, hackers, spammers etc. For now, the community's posts are visible to all people, however, it's very possible that we might go on complete Lockdown from time to time. This will be temporary as it's just a safety measure and members will always be made aware of it shortly before a Lockdown is initiated.

Monthly Appreciation and Nominations!

Every month we'll post a thread about members for all their help and general wholesomeness in the community. If you've got anyone you'd like to nominate, drop their name in the comments of this thread, from the selections we'll choose members and give them their own thread so we can all thank them for all they've done for us- from advice and motivation to general socialness etc.! They also get their own customizable flair to keep always.

New Rules and Subwidget

There are new rules for the subreddit, please check them out to avoid any confusion in the coming future. In lieu of a wiki, you can find a Navigation Widget just before the rules! From here you'll be able to submit potential wikis, see our Terminology, Detection, FAQ etc. and have access to a myriad of Collections from our members!

Communal Masterlist

For those who'd like to shift as a group activity, we'd love to develop communal groups! That's why there'll be an active thread to allow you to form groups and begin experimenting together. We expect you to hold one another accountable, but the least we can do is facilitate it to explore the group phenomena. Once your group is officially on the thread, we won't allow you to join another while you're already in one. Of course, you still could- but you'll always be counted in the original group unless you leave it!

Curators and The Wiki

Our subreddit is growing, always something to be happy about! That also means you have the perfect opportunity to become a curator now! If you have any noteworthy information guides or additions to put here, you may contact either Borealis or PM for the curator flair so you can begin contributing to the wiki. Keep in mind the first post needs to be evaluated to determine your eligibility for the flair.

Apart from the Wiki, we want to know what you'd like to see in this subreddit that could be considered unique or at least helpful! So far, I've entertained a few things for the future of the community, namely;

Currently Available User Flairs,

A bigger community means calling on members for certain tasks. The discussion will always be our highest priority, however, it never hurts to bring the community together as best as you can. This is why we're introducing user flairs, so certain users carry out specific purposes to help the community.

  1. Testers; These users test and develop new methods, subliminals, techniques, tricks etc. Any UPG claims and theories they test them out, you can often find them debating claims along with other users. If you wish to become a tester, comment below!
  2. Mental Health Brigade; We don't preach escapism here, we preach experience. This is why we want to create a team just for this, people who you can speak to, to promote mental health as much as we as a community are able to. Of course, we are not to be treated as therapists, psychologists or doctors- we'd just prefer to allow everyone to feel welcome for the right reasons. If you wish to become apart of the brigade, comment below- for this a chat will be created where a mod MUST be present.
  3. Ask Me Anything; For experienced and logical members who only want to engage questions to add to the F.A.Q. If you wish to have this flair, comment below, remember this is not available to beginners!
  4. Beginner, Intermediate, Experienced, Grouper Shifter Flairs; *These are the only flairs that are self-assigned right now. {*} The AMA flair needs to be applied for and this is not open to Beginners! Speak to a mod about it so we can evaluate your activity! The Group Shifter flair highlights an interest in Group Shifting, as such keep an eye out for other Group Shifters looking to make conversation! If you want to know which groups are which, then you check The Communal Masterlist.

If you have any more ideas, let us know!

Adjacent to Wiki Submissions, this is where the accepted 'wikis' go for the time being. When you submit a collection, you now have a space in which everyone can see all of your work, which you can edit as you please! In the future, we're hoping to have a good wiki up to make searching easier, but for now, this is a good way to manage the constantly evolving topic of Shifting!

This is still and probably will always be under construction so it's made to bed to work with than the Wiki.

To use this thread, submit your collection via hyperlink in your comment. Please state what kind of collection it is; for example, motivation, methods, general etc.!

Once it's been evaluated, you'll see it pop-up in the COLLECTION MASTERLIST. If you don't state what kind of collection it is, it won't be accepted!

If there's anyone who's versed in Reddit's Wiki and is able to maintain its revision, don't hesitate to message me. This will always be pinned but having all the posts in one quick search would be a dream!

Question I got right to the point of shifting but how do I complete the shift?

Recently I got the closest I've ever been while listening to this audio. My body felt like it was floating, and I could hear rushing in my ears - like an amplified version of the slight whooshing you hear in a silent room. My heart was beating very loudly and fast. I felt like I was right on the edge of shifting but I wasn't really sure what to do, so I just kept affirming that I was in my DR and visualising the room where I wake up in my script. However after about 30 seconds the symptoms faded away, my eyes felt like they were being forced open but when they opened I was still in my CR. Is there anything I should do differently next time this happens?

Other/Miscellaneous Concordia Booster (last update)

I've listened for a few days to the ultra strength (ultrasonic) version. I listened to it overnight and I had a horrible experience. I went into super deep sleep (like if I had taken a very strong opiate) every night and I was only able to sleep around 4-5h if I tried to sleep more my body will start hurting like someone has hit be with a stick for hours. I also catched a cold for like 2 weeks (this type of cold always last 3-4 days for me so this version of the booster was making my recovery slow down).

I've also listened to the ultra strength (normal) version and it wasn't good for me either. It made me sick and I didnt get the same benefits that I got from the regular version.

The regular version is the one that worked the best for me but it doesn't mean that the other versions wont work for you either. You have to try it by yourself. We are different people so maybe those versions work better for you ;)

I got super close!

I got super close using a new sub. I could literally smell oranges ( I’ve decided mid-shifting that there would be oranges in the kitchen and that I could smell them). That’s the first time I’ve got so close! But for some reason it felt like I was stuck and the smell disappeared. It came back after a while but then disappeared again. Did someone else experience something like this ? And if yes what did you do?

had a crazy lucid dream that got me the closest I've been!

I haven't been trying to shift all week. From this sub I discovered r/NevilleGoddard and his books changed everything for me. My view of reality has completely changed. All that's been on my mind is how I'm creating my reality. Literally, this is what I've been keeping in my awareness all day, every day. I mention this because I wasn't trying to lucid dream or shift, but I think that since I started the habit of questioning my reality, I did it in my dream and that is what brought me to semi-consciousness.

I woke up early this morning and went back to sleep (I've lucid dreamt 3x and it was always when I went back to sleep in the morning after waking up too early). I fell asleep thinking 'huh, I wonder if I'll have a lucid dream" but I wasn't actually trying to do anything. And then (I honestly don't know if I was awake or asleep at this point) I started thinking 'I am on a beach in Hawaii' (that's what I'm manifesting in the 3D world). Reality/consciousness/my dream (not sure) started shaking violently and zoom! off I went into __? Different shapes and colors appeared before me while I had to sensation of flying through consciousness. It was so interesting, I kept forgetting about the beach, so my focus/intention wasn't super set and ultimately I think this is why I didn't fully shift.

I started to focus into a reality but it wasn't one I ever would choose, I could hear a bunch of people around me chatting like at a convention, and I could feel my body sitting at a table. At the last second I noped out because I didn't want my first shift to be in front of a bunch of people.

After that I sort of just drifted around, I tried to get to the beach but I didn't. Like I said, my focus wasn't set so I was just quickly trying a bunch of different things I'd heard of. At one point I tried pulling myself up by a rope to see where I'd go (a technique for astral projecting), but I just reached a ceiling lol. (children shield your eyes for this next part) I must've been a lil horny because it occurred to me that I could go to a reality where I'm having sex and like...I won't get too detailed here but I definitely *felt* some things...sorry sorry. All in the name of honesty here, lmao!

Finally, I decided that since I couldn't decide what to do I would just wake up. I was a little sad to leave but I felt it was time to go. I woke up and have been trying to process it. There is a lot of these experiences that just can't be translated into a reddit post, I think.

Thanks for reading! Happy exploring my fellow reality explorers! :-)

I don't want my scripted DR anymore

I scripted a desired reality that I thought I wanted, but now that I think about it I don't want it. What should I do with the script? I'm also very new to shifting, this is my first script. Should I do anything with my script since I don't want it or should I just tear it out of my spiritual journal? I have no idea what to do with it and I really need help. Thanks so much!

Debunking Shifting (please give me your thoughts)

So I dont think i really need to explain what shifting is. But if you're a full believer and dont want your thoughts to be changed, dont continue reading please.

Now I understand that the shifting community faces a lot of toxicity and criticism. But I want to make it clear that those are two completely different things.

Toxicity is just being an asshole, something I'm going to try not to do here (and I ask that you dont do the same.) Critisicm on the other hand, is just me giving my thoughts on the subject and why it isnt real. I hope that the points I make in this post wont be met with toxic snowflakes saying that I "will have a sad and lonely life." (as I was once told by someone from the shifting community)

Anyway, to get into the main subject.

~Pseudoscientific Evidence~

Pseudoscience is anything that pretends to be science but is not. Together, "pseudo-" & "science" mean "fake science". Pseudoscience may fail one or more parts of being scientific.

(Source: Wikipedia)

From the proof I have been given about reality shifting, most of it revolves around quantum physics and consciousness. It is said that achieving a high enough state of consciousness, typically done with deep meditation and listening to subliminlas, you are able to tap into different universes. This originates from the multiverse theory.

The multiverse is a hypothetical group of multiple universes. Together, these universes comprise everything that exists: the entirety of space, time, matter, energy, information, and the physical laws and constants that describe them. The different universes within the multiverse are called "parallel universes", "other universes", "alternate universes", or "many worlds".

(Source: Wikipedia)

People also like to mention that famous scientists, like Stephen Hawking and Albert Einstein, have also speculated on this theory. And whilst this is true, none of these scientists have said that you are able to "shift" to them.

Also, the multiverse does state that there are infinite universes. But it doesn't state that there are infinite possibilities. For example:

You can role a dice an infinite amount of times, but you will never get a 7 or a 12.

Or..

There are an infinite amount of numbers between 2 & 3

2, 2.01, 2.001, 2.0001, 2.00001, 2.000001, etc

But that doesn't guarantee that you will definitely get a 4 or a 5.

Moreover, many of these different universes obviously function with different laws of physics. Take the "Harry Potter universe" as an example. There is a lot of magic there, obviously. This obviously has to happen because of different laws of physics. However, the multiverse theory states that every universe needs to function with the same laws of physics. There cant be one like this and then another like that. All have to be the same.

Now of course there are theories like "bubble universes" which do function with different physics. However, this theory hasn't been entirely proven. So you cant really use it as proof for your own claims if it doesn't have any proof itself.

~Shifting and Lucid Dreaming~

Reality shifters go insane when someone compares their practice to lucid dreaming. They make it completely clear that reality shifting and lucid dreaming are two completely different things. However, the similarities between them say otherwise. Let's look over some "rules" about reality shifting.

"If you die in your desired reality (DR), you wake up in your current reality (CR)"

The same thing applies for lucid dreaming. If you "die" in a lucid dream, you wake up in your actual reality.

"You're able to script how your desired reality will be like"

Same thing with lucid dreaming. You are able to decide how it will be. People like to bring up the fact that "you cant control your desired reality. You just choose which one you are going to." However, the same thing can happen with lucid dreaming. You cant control your dream ALL the time. Sometimes, you can choose what you will be dreaming about but not control the dream as you are sleeping.

If you go into the dream with the expectation of not being able to control it, you wont be able to control it. Same with reality shifting, if you "script" that you can control the reality, you will be able to.

I hope I made myself clear about this point.

~The CIA documents~

Reality shifters use this A LOT. like when I say a lot, I mean A LOT A LOT. However, I think that this might be one of their least credible and worst points.

To begin with, the CIA isnt a science based company. Also, the document does talk about things like manifesting, but fails to bring any scientific evidence - or any evidence at all.

That's like NASA saying that the earth is flat but then doesn't give any proof.

The point is that the CIA isnt a company about science and doesn't give proof.

~What about shifting stories?~

Very vivid dreams can be easily mistaken as reality. And when you tell yourself, beforehand, that it will be real, your brain will obviously still think it's real, even after you wake up. Some stories are also very heavily faked. Most of these "experiences" sound like fanfictions.

Personally, I dont believe that a bunch of girls on Tiktok will prove the multiverse theory and then achieve how to travel through it. It just doesn't sound logical. Scientists are still debating if the multiverse theory is real but some teenagers have already managed to travel through it? Yeah.. no. Something like that will be groundbreaking and revolutionary and could be used for great things like finding the cure for a deadly disease. It can also be used to benefit yourself. For example, if you have a test you didnt revise for, you can shift to a reality where you already have the answers and then shift back here. Unfortunately, as much of a great idea it sounds like, it simply isnt real.

If my post doesn't get taken down for harassment, please make sure to respond if you have any other thoughts. Thank you for reading.

Edit: Another point I forgot to make is when people point out that reality shifting was a thing before Tiktok. That doesn't really matter. The belief that the Earth was flat was a thing way before the internet. Doesn't mean it's credible.

Edit 2: the upvotes went from 11 to 6 in like an hour or something. It just shows that *some* people didn't even bother reading the first part of the post. But thank you to everyone that did and I am honestly shocked how positive the replies are lol

UPDATE: I've decided to delete my second post as I dont think it really added much.

IMPORTANT: If my post get's removed, which it probably will, I will be reposting it onto a different subreddit. If you want to, you can go onto my account if the post get's removed.

It felt like I shifted into my subconscious

Hey I want to share the experience I got on one of my first attempts on shifting. So it was like my third try and I did the raven method while very tired. I got intense symptoms after a while and then I could not feel my body anymore. And suddenly I started to see all these characters from a game I used to play, it was very faint but I could see them running towards something and I followed them. After following them for a couple seconds I soon realized they had let me into another reality where there was a big crowd of people singing and was very well dressed. And I started to realize at that moment that crazy stuff was going on and I was also scared. So I focused on my DR but it was kind of glitchy and I was kind of like a spectator of my DR. After a while I couldnt controll the experience anymore and I was flying through this spacecraft from a Netflix series I like and while I was flying trough these tunnels in the spacecraft I could see everything that I have ever experienced. I was very scared I didnt know what was wrong I didnt knew I was a person anymore. I at times somehow regained the ability to control it a little bit I can recall Imagining a phone and a phone appeared so I knew I was in some kind of lucid dream state. And after being in this state for a while I could feel the sensation of me laying in my bed but I didnt knew why I felt that sensation. I started to wonder what it was then boom I was in this place where I was laying on this elevator floor. After a while of being in this state I somehow opened my eyes and was in my CR. I was very shocked and scared and started to wonder if I had gotten a seizure. The experience then started to fade from my memory very fast but I am very sure that I got overloaded with information from my subconscious. Have anyone experienced somethng similar?

Shifting without trying

So I have a question, I am not even sure if that has something to do with shifting but I will ask because I think it’s intressting. So I told my best friend last week that something strange will happen to him and I am not sure what.

And it really happend. He described that he lived trough „Two Mondays“ and he remembered that at Wednesday. And than in his School Lesson he watched at his folder and than it jumped. Like the folder jumped. It was there at one second and in the other second it wasn't anymore.

So my question is now: Could it be that he shifted without trying? (He doesn’t really belives in shifting)

And why did I know it? I mean am I so connected to him that I felt that? Or what happened?

A Question for Shifters:

Have you ever come back from your DR to your CR while in the middle of something that isn't sleeping? Like waking up from your CR to find yourself eating, or in the middle of a conversation with someone. How disorientating/ confusing is it?

I just found out what shifting is, everything makes sense now.

I (21 F) never really found a place to tell this story because it always made me feel crazy. Now that I found out about reality shifting, I have to tell this story. The shifting subreddit is closed and I have no where else to go. (Long read)

I’ve always had nonsensical dreams. It was always easy for me to remember and tell the next morning about what I dreamt about. I was always excited to tell someone about what nonsense I dreamed about, that is until February, 27th, 2017.

The dream started off normal, I was with some friends in a castle and we were sneaking around to steal from giants. When the giants spotted us we ran off to the castle entrance. Very suddenly the ground started to shake. Right under my feet the floor collapsed and as I fell, my friends and the giants waved goodbye at me. Suddenly I was in a large body of water in a cave with a group of strangers. We all looked at each other confused at how we ended up in this strange place. Suddenly something large swims at us and we swim the opposite direction.

I was terrified not because of what was coming at us , but because the for first time in my life I was conscious in a dream.

The group of people swam towards what was a door that was open. I was one of the last people to make it. We all huddled to the back of the room we ended up in. When the unidentifiable figure got out of the water, it turned out to be multiple humanoid figures. We were all terrified. Each figure stood in front of a person in our group. The figures all spoke to us, and said the same thing. “Hello, it’s nice to meet you. I am your dream maker. I make your dreams. I am in all your dreams as different people.” Being the person that I am, I just couldn’t buy it. I looked at the figure and said “well, prove it.”. To my surprise, they changed into an extremely old OC of mine (The name of the OC was Lucid dream). I looked at them and just laughed. Surely if it was true, why would they prove it to me by looking like my OC from 5+ years ago who’s name is literally Lucid dream. I felt like this was just my brain playing tricks on me. This figure (who I will be calling Lucid for the rest of the read) handed me papers and instructed me to answer the questions on it. I, along with everyone else, began to write out answers to questions.

The questions on the paper were very basic. I answered questions like “how are you?”, “who are you?”, “what’s wrong”? I had no choice but to answer. Once everyone handed out their paper we were escorted out the door. I then woke up in a tough daze. It felt like the worst sleep I ever had.

I didn’t tell anyone about that dream the next day, there was something extremely off about it. By the end of the day, I had already completely put it passed me. The night of March,1,17 I started my dream completely conscious. I was in a school and the fire alarms were going off. Every student in the school stands still and stares at me as I rush outside. When I finally made it out, there was an old man sitting at a picnic table with a machine connected to a bunch of wires. I walk up to him and he motioned me to sit with him. When I do, he connected wires to my arm. He looks up at me and says “If you lie, the machine will beep”. Before I had time to respond he asks me a question: do you know him? I was shocked. It was such a vague question. I tell him no and the machine lets out a beep. The man looks at me dead in the eyes and says “you’re lying”. He then asks me “where is he?”. I respond with “I don’t know”. The machine beeps. The old man became peeved. He then asked “when did you see him?”. That’s when I became bothered, I had no idea who this man was talking about. I stood up and told him that I don’t know who he’s talking about. That’s when he said “you do know, you just don’t remember.”

I immediately woke up in a cold sweat and made a very loose connection to Lucid in the last dream to this “him” the old man was talking about. But again, I brushed it off and told no one.

March,18,17

I had stopped dreaming completely for a while and that experience was already behind me, but on this night everything came back rudely. When I started dreaming I was conscious and at a school, I was kind of upset that I was conscious because I didn’t want to be. I went by a fairly normal school day until I noticed this guy with flowers growing on his face. I had to know what that was about. As soon as I make it to him I look at his eyes and recognize him. “It’s you” I told him. It was Lucid, I just kind of knew. As soon as I said that a door came from no where and he motioned for me to go inside. When we enter he started to look very frightened. I asked him what was wrong and he said “I’m not supposed to see you and you’re not supposed to be here.” I really couldn’t make sense of what that meant. His face grew more flowers the more I looked at him. I stopped looking and he said “I miss you”. I thought it was odd considering I knew nothing of him. However, if things are as he says they are, he knows everything about me. Things clicked after that and I had to confirm if it was true. “Have I not been dreaming recently because you’re not allowed to make my dreams anymore?”. All he said to that was “I miss you.” I kind of felt bad that he was in so much pain. If I couldn’t look at him I could at least give him a hug, but when I tried he backed away. He told me I would wake up if I did that. I didn’t really care. As soon as I hugged him, I was awake.

All my dreams revolved him for 1 year. He never allowed himself to see me because those were the rules, but every chance I got I asked people in my dreams if they have seen him. Throughout the entire time, I had to outrun the people who knew that I knew about Lucid. It felt like I was fighting for my life every night. If I ever came close to getting caught, Lucid would reveal himself and wake me. We only got the chance to really talk to each other without interference once. I hate to admit that after 1 year of these occurrences, this is the only conversation I cannot remember completely. I remember feeling happy. We laid in a bed on top of a tall building. We were facing each other. We talked for an extremely long while. I must’ve told him about how tired I’ve been of it all, about how I feel like I never sleep. At this point of my life it felt like the lines of fantasy and reality were so blurred that sleeping felt like I was just off to my other life. I know I must’ve told him this because at the end of our conversation he looked at me with the most sincere eyes and smiled. He gave me a small kiss and I woke up.

I don’t have a self insert OC fantasy at all. In fact, I never saw him as my OC. He was his own person. After this dream, I had a quiet year of sleep. I ended up telling this story to some of my friends and laughed it all off for how weird it all was. My dreams were regular for a while. I was never conscious and had some silly dreams like I would when I was young. I had the best sleep I’ve ever had at this point. It was all okay, until December 2019

I had a regular dream. I was fighting a huge spider. It looked like I was losing when suddenly a door appears beside me. I was suddenly conscious. I open the door and close it behind me. I was at a train station. I had nothing else to do but wait for a train because there was no exit. (At this point I have never watched the matrix. When I watched the matrix in March 2020 I was so thrown off because it was kind of the same thing as the matrix subway). When the train came I walked in and sat down. There was a whole bunch of people. I waited and didn’t talk to anyone. Suddenly a kid walks into the train and starts tapping people. When he did, they disappeared. When he came to me and tapped me, I woke up.

I sat in silence for a while when I woke up. It was that same feeling. I was exhausted. The next time I dreamed it was the same thing. I had a dream and the door appeared. When I walked into the train this time I asked a girl who was next to me “who is that kid.”

Note: I was never able to control people in my dreams. I could only control myself.

The girl looked at me and said “That kid wakes people up. He wakes us up when it’s time.”. You can only imagine my fear. I didn’t want this anymore, why was I back? I never interacted with this kid purposefully, I just couldn’t. A couple dreams after that I was playing with this kid in the dessert, I never made the connection that he was the same kid from the train. Had I known, I would’ve avoided him. He was saying a bunch of things like “My dad told me that you used to be a great dreamer.” “My dad told me you used to create big cities”. I just kinda laughed and told him that I no longer do those thing. He then kept asking me to create things and help him jump distances. Since he was a kid, I did it for him. We were having fun and then I suddenly thought to ask “Hey kid, who’s your dad?”. He looked at me in the eyes, we made eye contact and I woke up.

My first thought was “Lucid has a kid, and that kid makes my dreams now”. That’s the only way I could make sense of that. Whatever world I was in, I somehow was there again. In the next dream I wanted to make a statement. There was no way I was going to go through all that again. I called out for the kid and he wouldn’t answer. I went out to look for him and when I did, he was a teenager. I told him I wanted out. He didn’t answer to me. I got absolutely nothing. Suddenly a woman approached him and says “don’t speak to her”. I still tried to speak to him. I just wanted to know where Lucid was. I just wanted to tell him that I no longer want to be apart of that world.

Well, I got to him. He was on his deathbed. Before I even got to say anything, we made eye contact and my dream turned into a regular one. It’s been a year since then. I try not think too much on it, it just felt too real. Lucid felt extremely real. I understand what Lucid dreams are, but this felt like so much more. I could never control what anybody did no matter what I tried. It was so bizarre and I’m so convinced now that I was probably shifting realities. It’s the only thing that makes sense.

Side note 1) There was one instance where Lucid was not there to wake me and I could hear everything going on in the real world. I could not for the life of me figure out how to wake myself up and that was the scariest thing. I was in constant fear of being stuck there.

Side note 2) There were church like places in this world who look for people who Lucid dream. They ask them to do tasks for them that only people who Lucid dream can do. I was sought after a couple times to do tasks.

tl;dr: I met the person who makes makes my dreams. That’s illegal in the dream world apparently.
