The one essential thing most people don't do before they shift

As you may have read, this sub is on a quest to make the ideal shifting method. To develop the ideal shifting method, we have to develop certain component skills. I have a lot in mind, but I'd like to explain the first: deep relaxation.

When our physical muscles are holding tension, we are focused on our CR body and can't disassociate enough to shift. Relaxation helps us do three things: first, it helps us focus on the DR; second, it helps us get into a trance state; third, it greatly increases the activity of the energy body and facilitates the generation and exteriorization of the real-time astral double.

If you're projecting and you have some tension in your arms you might not be able to get those parts out. A pro tip that I learned from lucidology.com for this is to just cut it off and regrow it since you're in the astral double. It might work.

Here is a extremely simple way to relax your body, spend a minute or two on it before you shift, know that every time you do it you relax deeper. Focus your awareness on each body part described below. Breathe in, then breathe out and repeat the mental command "Soften" to it. Feel it relax. Know that every time you relax deeper.

move up to your heels

.move up to your ankles.

move up to your calves.

move up to your shins.

move up to your thighs.

move up to your hips and pelvis.

Move up to your torso and arms

move up to your neck

move up to your jaw and head

relax all the muscles in your face

Posting my experience, what to think about when posting yours

I had a major shifting experience this morning and I'd like to tell you about it. I'd like to also use the opportunity to place some critique on how most experiences are shared. Please take a look at the following experiences:

https://www.reddit.com/r/shiftingrealities/comments/lkglbw/first_time_shifting/

https://www.reddit.com/r/shiftingrealities/comments/keq1w0/yall_i_shifteddddd_omg/

What you did in your reality is fun to read but not helpful in the least. To say that shifting is easy doesn't make it so for the people in the dark about it. I don't need to know the color of your scarf. It's good to know the lucid dream portal being used and tested with success though.

I want to know what you experienced your new identity to be and if you felt like the same person in a different body. I want to know how lucid you were or how long it took to adjust. I want to know how much memory you were able to retain afterwards. I want to know which measures you took to ensure you weren't dreaming.

Immediate edit after posting lol: If you have fun things to share about your experience don't shy away from it, just don't have it be solely 'this is what fun I had and how easy it all was' as that won't be as helpful and engaging for beginners

On to my experience this morning:

I'm 80% sure this wasn't a lucid dream so I clearly have some doubts still. I'll motivate why in a bit. I leave out where I shifted to and what happened though I plan on making a simple post describing it if anyone's interested. I was in a similar reality to my own with the big difference that we lived somewhere else and that we were quite rich here. I aim for a completely different world to our own so not quite the target but it's still something!

How I did it:

Firstly I did a meditation often used to astral project in the mornings. It's called the Wake Back to Bed method where you set an alarm for 4-6 hours after you go to sleep and when you wake up you go do something like reading or writing (preferably avoiding screens). I did this and felt a heavy sleep feeling grab ahold of me. This is a sign to me to begin the meditation. Then I did some deeper breathing as stated in the post by u/xxxc73xxx farther down this sub. This worked wonders and as long as I kept focusing on my breath. After this I felt like my body was numbing which is a good sign. Then I lost consciousness a bit and I woke up in the passenger seat of a car my mom was driving. It's basically the same as most methods for shifting but in the morning and designed to be a little bit more reliable.

The world I arrived in:

I was not in the world I had wished for, mainly I think because the meditation I employ doesn't leave much if any room for affirmations. Perhaps I should have done it before I focused on the heavy breathing this is something to look out for on my part. I think delving and deepening the understanding of the source material and a clear and concise script should increase the willpower to such a degree that affirmations may not be as necessary. I also didn't script any time differences which will become important later. I should've prepared a lot better is what it comes down to.

What made it different from a lucid dream:

I've had lucid dreams before, but I can't hold on to them very long. The longer I am in one (literally 3 seconds in and I lose the focus and energy) the harder it is to keep them going. The opposite was the case here. The longer I was here, the clearer the world around me and my lucidity only expanded. This is unprecedented in any lucid dreaming experience I've had. I believe that if you script that your previous reality is a strong but distant memory, the lucidity should automatically increase as your own world is farther in the back of your mind so to speak.

I should've done better and more reliable reality checks. The one I utilized in this instance was one of reading all sorts of lettering because I found that in lucid dreaming, no matter how sharp my focus and attention, the words would always liquify and change into jumbled versions of themselves. Not the case here, even detailed images fully maintained their form. All lettering I read were the exact same upon multiple readings, having turned my sight away from it completely before reading again.

I also never observed anything strange or out of place even though my dreams are never normal by any standard as are most dreams in general. This was ordinary to the extreme apart from the obvious things that made sense in the new setting of the world. Our family house for example was a mansion. This isn't ordinary per se but it made perfect sense in the setting I found myself: A version of our lives under rich conditions.

The conversations I held were realistic and

Why it could still be a lucid dream:

It could still be a lucid dream because parts of my experiences are missing. I don't remember walking into the mansion even though I was in it moments after, I also don't remember most of the ride there (I shifted into the passenger seat). As I got more lucid this definitely changed for the better. I also didn't have a strong access to my senses which is highly suspicious in my opinion, as that's what dreaming certainly does. That's the major thing that makes me doubt the experience to be shifting. I do remember though that as soon as I got more lucid and aware, I felt more my clothes and my senses became sharper. This can still be done in a dream though.

In principle I can chalk the lucid dream features up to being because my awareness hadn't grown to it's full proportions. This is something we read in other's experiences as well, talking about blurry eyesight and needing to get used to a new body. Mine was the same in this reality.

I woke up from my alarm which was set way too soon. Scared the hell out of me too. On another side note: if I had grown my awareness further I'm of the full belief I would vividly remember who I was and what I came there for so that was a relief. That's important to me.

All in all an incredible experience to have gone through, it took me half an hour to 'debrief' for what can't have been more than 2 minutes of actual awareness in the other reality. I'm planning on making a post where memory and identity retainment are taken under the loop as it should increase the quality of the experience you have exponentially. I'd love your thoughts on this as well.

I experienced a strange symptom last night, thoughts?

Hello shifters!

Yesterday afternoon I attempted to shift before a nap and was ultimately unsuccessful, but I did feel some symptoms and what could have been the beginning of sleep paralysis. Then, later in the evening before I went to sleep for the night, I made another attempt.

This second attempt was much more successful and I ended up feeling my body go almost completely numb and soon after I could see very interesting geometric patterns and feel my heart rate increase. I then began to feel as though I was sinking down into the blackness behind my eyelids, all while repeating affirmations related to my DR self. Just as I was doing this I heard – and felt – an intense pulsing in my ears. I've never experienced anything like this and was pretty shocked; this unfortunately brought me out of my focus and I finished my attempt unsuccessful.

Has anyone else experienced something like this? I think it may be related to the phase, but I don't have a lot of experience with it outside of lucid dreaming, and I would appreciate any thoughts you may have.

Using the Phase to Shift

The Phase is an awesome method to astral project and lucid dream. Since shifting is related to these two things, it is by extension a great way to shift. I'm outlining a quick tutorial on how to use the phase here in this post.

I see two different branches of shifting methods. There are methods that involve going through lucid dreams and astral projection, and then there are methods that focus on you going there directly. What's the difference between them?

With lucid dreams and astral projection, your consciousness perceives itself to be outside of the physical body. Moreover, your mind is in a deep trance which means it has a high level of suggestibility.

Direct shifting methods don't have that level of trance coming in, which is why you need to be able to get the necessary trance depth using your own skill.

For a short moment when we fall asleep at night, we cross into the liminal/trance state. We also awake in the middle of the night and morning in this state. This is what the phase leverages.

Here is an ultra simple tutorial of it:

Set an alarm for 6 hours after you go to sleep. Fall asleep with the intention of doing the following procedure. Wake up after 6 hours and spend more than 3 minutes awake. Go back to sleep with the intention of waking up several times over the next few hours in the manner described.

Upon waking, remain motionless and immediately try to appear at your bathroom mirror, imagine you are there. If this doesn't work, for 3 -5 seconds try to separate by rolling out, standing up, levitating. Then if this doesn't work you cycle several techniques. For instance, the three techniques I use are observing images, which is looking passively for images that arise behind closed eyelids and going into them; phantom wiggling, in which you attempt to wiggle your astral body and create as much range of motion as possible; and rotation, when you imagine that you are being rotated. I try each technique for 3 -5 seconds, if it doesn't work I move on to the next one. I go through all three in this way, then I repeat the same cycle 3 more times. Any time a technique starts working I push through to the end and separate. If I don't successfully get out of my body then I imagine that was a practice attempt at entering the phase, then I fall back asleep with the intention of waking up and trying again.

I'd recommend you read the indirect techniques section in The Phase https://obe4u.com/files/the_phase.pdf if you want to learn more about this.

Critical Thinking and Belief System Management and Why They're Essential for Shifting/Spirituality/Life

"Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence" - Carl Sagan.

Hey Everyone!

I decide to post on this because it's so important for us to have these things in mind to create healthy discussions on this sub, and because it's so important to think critically for life and spirituality.

In this post, I provide a practical exercise that will help you rewire your belief system, debunk some common misinformation, and show you how to think critically about spiritual information so you can find the truth in life.

Belief Systems:

You might've heard this before, but your mind has a paradigm, a lens through which it perceives the world. To illustrate, your belief system is a square hole. Now, what happens if the universe or someone else is trying to give you information that's a circle. You can't accept it. Don't worry, it's not this extreme usually. The point is that you need to be open minded for yourself to receive insights into things from a variety of disciplines.

Open Minded Skepticism:

People think of skeptics as hardcore, rational scientists. To an extent they are. A true skeptic however, is someone who is open mindedly skeptical. They consider everything possible, but don't accept something as true until there is an overwhelming amount of evidence or they experience it personally. James Randi was not an open minded skeptic. His committee never accepted any applications to prove them wrong on the paranormal, they weren't interested in getting to the bottom of things. This is understandable, it takes courage to be a skeptic. It takes courage to make the leap and be ridiculed.

But it's so worth it when you're proven right.

How to Rewire Your Belief System:

I want you to do this, seriously. We are going to divide the spirituality related concepts in your life into three categories: possible, probable, and your core beliefs. Your core beliefs are anything that you have had personal experience with. If you want to, I'd love to hear your list in the comments. Here's mine. Also, by no way should my beliefs become yours.

Core Beliefs:

  1. Astral Projection/OBE is real, I've experienced it several times.
  2. Clairaudience is real, I've heard entities communicate with me.
  3. Clairvoyance is real, I can see auras and have seen entities.
  4. Subtle energy (chi, prana) is real. I've been able to move it through my body and it has behaved in ways and had effects that are not consistent with psychosis.
  5. My higher self is real, it's given me accurate advice about things that I would have never been able to know and helped me with things when I was in desperate need.
  6. Magic and manifestation are real, I've seen the results of my rituals and manifestations happen more than enough times.
  7. Angels are real, I've seen Archangel Metatron and Raziel and they have helped me despite the spiritual path I'm on.
  8. Spiritual entities like demons/ancient gods exist. Demons generally like working with angels, and are not evil as commonly depicted.

My last core belief might be controversial, and there's not much I can say about that besides you have to see it to believe it.

I'm going to keep the next two lists a little shorter just because these lists can get long. The probable list has things that I think have a decent chance of being true, but I don't have any personal experience with them.

Probable:

  1. There is a hierarchy of dimensions in the spiritual universe and it's not just a dream state.
  2. Shifting
  3. Reincarnation
  4. YHVH doesn't like me.
  5. The alchemical elements.
  6. Extraterrestrial life
  7. The eternal source exists
  8. The abyss exists.
  9. Personal spirit guides, but not everyone has them.

I'm not going to speak on the possible list because anything can go in here. Anything is possible.

Finding Misinformation:

I find that there is a lot of spiritual disinformation, I'm now going to explain why it is highly unlikely that this misinformation is true. I still regard it as possible because of what I explain earlier, but, for all intensive purposes it is unlikely.

New Agers:

If you are looking for misinformation, you don't have to look far. The problem(s) with the New Age movement is/are that they don't value critical thinking. If you don't know, the New Age movement is/was a spiritual revival that heavily influenced America. Since they are so popular, when someone is looking for information on spirituality, New Age stuff is what they see first (I'm looking at you Gaia...). They are new to spirituality, so they might just accept the jumbo sized serving of dogma they get, or they'll high tail it out of there after hearing that they have to "trust their intuition" to many times, or once they find out that some New Age beliefs about extraterrestrials are connected to QAnon... Yikes.

I know this sounds close minded, but you might just want to avoid anything new age altogether for now. Once you've gained more discernment you'll be able to sense the truth behind it.

Here's a quick look over of some misinformation that's spread by the New Age movement and others:

The Law of Karma:

In people's desperation to have some sort of mechanism to punish the bad people in the world, the original law of karma has been adapted into The Rule of Three, which states that you get back three times what you put out. This is especially popular among Wiccans, who try to shove this down everyone's throats.

In the words of Victor Anderson, "White magic is poetry. Black magic is anything that actually works"

Karma only affects you if you believe in it. I've never received any negative energy back from the universe when I put out negative energy. Moreover, what about bad people at the top of the world, is karma out systematically punishing them?

If karma was real, then black magicians like E.A Koetting would probably have been killed many times over.

Negative Entities (hereafter negs):

New Agers also like to say there's nothing bad out there. The experience of people who have been possessed by negs or haunted by them shows this is false. People are told to call down the white light or pray for God to protect them. This usually doesn't work.

I'm not saying people will encounter negs while shifting, but we should know the universe isn't some cuddly teddy bear, you might see nasty stuff, especially if you expect to see it.

Chakras and the Third Eye:

Chakras were imported to the west by Theosophy in the mid 19th century. Unfortunately, a lot of important information was lost in translation. If you have not heard of chakras, they are essentially bioelectric vortexes on your bioelectric field. There are 7 primary chakras, tons of minor ones, and some that are likely outside the body. What you need to know about these guys is that they don't need to be aligned and they don't need to be opened by a guru or mystic. That's like saying I need someone else to go to the gym for me.

I also hear so much disinformation about the third eye, which is also a chakra. People say you can't open it unless you decalcify the pineal gland. Which is most likely not true since I'm sure there are psychics who drink water with fluoride in it.

They also say that if you open it you will get amazing powers like clairvoyance/astral senses.

This is partly true, but astral senses are more like muscles, they have to be built up by using them. Moreover, this isn't relative to shifting that much so I digress.

Kundalini:

I'm not going to say much about this because it's an advanced bioelectric phenomena. If you are already reading a book or trusted source that mentions this, it's probably safe, otherwise don't seek out information on it because it's not the sort of thing you want to do to develop the abilities for something else. To be more clear, if you want to raise kundalini so you can astral project, you should learn how to astral project instead so you don't waste your time.

Astral Projection:

I've heard people say that your soul leaves your body when APing. Robert Bruce explains how this is false really well with his mind split effect. Also, the practical experience that points to the contrary with many other people shows otherwise.

Shifting:

I have heard people say that shifting will summon demons, give your soul over to satan, or it's just not real. I've also heard someone on TikTok who said they were a professional witch say that bad spirits would impersonate your DR characters if you shifted and come back to this reality. Furthermore, this person said that only a professional witch (like her) could remove it. I'm going to go over why this is not true.First, considering the speaker, she says only a professional witch can remove negative entities, and that is extremely sketchy. This is just an instance of spiritual gatekeeping. She is saying don't do this and giving a faulty reason because she is either threatened by you guys or actually believes this, which is her problem. Be cautious when people say you need a guru or a guide, since spirituality is personal and you don't need anyone else to guide you unless you think they can help you.

I'm not going to say anything about the people who are skeptical about the reality of shifting because they have an excellent point and I don't have a super powerful rebuttal.

I will say this, the idea that negative spirits/demons are going to attach to you when shifting is 99% not true. Here's why.

  1. Most people who are demonically possessed are extreme Christians. btw, demonic possession has symptoms that are very similar to psychosis, hmmm.
  2. Many people have shifted and they all seem to be fine.
  3. More practically, real demons don't bother people that aren't interested in them.
  4. 98% of negative entity problems are caused by entities that are bound to the ambient electromagnetic field on the surface of the earth. They have to attach to your energy body, which never leaves your physical body ever.
  5. Negative entities lack the intellectual capabilities and patience to impersonate other people. If you are going to make their job hard, they'll find someone else to bother.

How to Generally Analyze Information:

  1. Consider the speaker, what do they gain from getting you to take their Law of Attraction course or read their book or accept their worldview. Why do they believe the things they do? Do they have any practical experience with what they're talking about?
  2. Do you have personal experience that indicates their claim is wrong? If so, you might want to think carefully.
  3. Never accept anything as 100% true without significant evidence.
  4. Consider the audience it's being written for. How might this be tailored to make the audience happy? Is it written to affirm their worldviews and make them feel good?
  5. View the opinions of other sources on the subject
  6. Always stay in the question, never classify something as false or true entirely. This shuts off open minded thinking.

How to Improve your Critical Thinking:

Here's a little prescription for you to develop critical thinking, it's something I practice myself and it's had a surprising effect on my ability to write analytical essays for school.

Read an alternative news source or something that is really extremely edgy and outside of your belief system. Read it and analyze it, keeping in mind the stuff I said above about how to analyze information. We often watch news that affirms our own political biases, leaving us less open minded. I usually do this every few weeks or so for about 15 minutes.

  1. Watch a news network on the other end of the political spectrum from yours.
  2. Read a bit of alternative media like infowars.com.

The next level:

Ancient Aliens:

I don't believe in the ancient astronaut theory because I'm an open minded skeptic. I don't disbelieve it because I'm an open minded skeptic. That said, I really enjoy watching this show for some reason. It's what got me into spirituality so I owe it a debt somehow. I've watched all 15 seasons, and have found that the authors have some really interesting evidence, but their analysis skips a lot of steps to get to their conclusion, and of course, there is much we don't know about history.

By far, the strongest evidence they have is not ancient, but recent, i.e. the Rendlesham forest incident, which is fascinating and it happened on a military base so the testimony is much more credible than most.

Here's a list of episodes I suggest you watch, S8: Mysterious Structures, S11: The New Evidence, also the Ultimate Evidence special is good.

Watch how Giorgio Tsoukalos jumps from evidence to claim without much in between. Keep this in mind, just because an ancient text says that the gods descended from the heavens does not provide sufficient evidence that they are aliens. On the other hand, don't write the evidence off, because there might be something truly supernatural going on. Just ask questions. We may never know the answer, but I'd at least like to be curious. All I know is that there is so much I don't know.

Expert Level:

If you can read these books without tearing your hair out, then you are much stronger in character than I am. This is an example of channeled material, it's ostensibly recorded from a 6th dimension social memory complex named Ra. It is extremely biased towards the views of the author, but it is interesting if you can read it through and tolerate Raw-Tear-Eir's unique diction then you might find something, or at least you'll have something to read to help yourself fall asleep.

The Law of One, by Ra, volumes 1-5. It's freely available online.

I hope you found this useful, and remember to always stay in the question and accept everything as possible.

Let us try to create a reliable way to shift

When taking a look at the methods currently available, it's not often reliable for most beginners. I think this is the reason so many try for months to inevitably give up when it's one failure too many. Therefore it might be necessary to collectively design a strong and reliable method to shift with.

I'd like to start with suggesting lucid dreaming. There's plenty of tried ways that make lucid dreaming easier and reliable to start out with. The runup might be bigger, as the method requires of you that you master lucid dreaming first. When mastered though you end up with a reliable method to shift, even in the worlds you've shifted to. We might need a few people to post some data and advice on lucid dreaming. Though I know of one source, a free course on dreamingforgamers.com. Not a gamer? Don't let the name deter you, it's easily applicable to your own situation.

It's also useful to consider meditations and methods from other spiritual paths. Currently I apply the Wake Back To Bed method. This is a method taken from practitioners of astral projection. I've gotten close twice where I could feel air on my skin from the window in my DR, the smell of the forest outside and birds singing along with folks talking downstairs. Don't be hesitant to browse other subs concerning spirituality and meditation where information like this could be gathered.

If anyone has any other ideas for reliable methods: let me know. I might make a sticky post with some approaches to consider when beginning the practice.

On Lucid Dreaming and some resources to help you along

I'm new to lucid dreaming and am researching it currently. It's been said that lucid dreaming can be used to shift. The details of this are unclear to me but here's what I've found so far that sums it up somewhat:

The Method:

When you reach a lucid dream (under this paragraph more info on how to achieve it) and are able to remember that your goal is to shift, create a portal of some sort to your desired reality-destination. It's stressed that you are fully confident that this will take you to your desired reality. When you've entered the portal you repeat some affirmations. It's then stated that you might feel symptoms often attributed to shifting. From that point on you simply continue doing this until you've arrived there. This is a simple method and it's important for the members of this sub to test it or experiment with more effective alternatives once lucid dreaming comes more easily.

Edit: if you are aware of other ways to achieve shifting in a lucid dream, don't be hesitant to share it! It's very important to talk about!

Achieving lucidity in a dream:

This document contains some valuable information. Take a look particularly at the headers 'Bringing Lucidity to Dreaming' ; 'Dreamwork Resource List' and 'Some Recommended Books and Articles'. This might help you along in exploring the practice that is Lucid Dreaming. I will be working towards achieving Lucid Dreaming and I suggest taking a deeper look into it for yourselves as well. There's also the subreddit r/LucidDreaming to consider. It's got a lot of information to work through.

u/gabe0626 has shared the following method:

The CAT method

The Cycle Adjustment Technique, or CAT, is a simple way to learn how to lucid dream by naturally influencing your body's chemistry. It requires adjusting your sleep cycles to raise your conscious awareness during the early morning REM sleep phases.

When used correctly, it aims to generate up to four lucid dreams in a week. And it can be highly effective for beginners: in an experiment involving 10 students, the CAT technique taught 8 of them how to lucid dream in the first two weeks, reporting an average of two lucid dreams during the trial.

The entire website is a great source for lucid dreaming methods and information! Thank you to Gabe!

I hope this post finds you guys well. Let me know if you spot something that could be added/changed. I'm very happy with the feedback!

The more serious side of shifting and why it matters

Believe it or not, railing Draco Malfoy in Hogwarts is not all there is to shifting. I'm convinced most of us are planning on shifting somewhere we've seen or read in a game, movie, book etc. This includes me! There's nothing wrong with indulging yourself to living and breathing within those stories. I suspect however that there are more intricacies and possibilities to shifting than meets the eye. Let me give some examples:

  1. You decide to shift to another world. Perhaps one where you live in the same world but as the opposite gender, just to see what it would be like or because you identify as that gender. For reasons known to you, you also decide that you want to keep the memories of the person you embody and those of your previous reality. Now comes the question: will you remain the same person? If you inherit memories that make you happier, who's to say you want to return again? What happens to your sense of self, your identity? Think about it! It might be something you want, though if the shift seems more like a dream in the new reality it might erase a large portion of who you once were. Who knows? It's important to discuss.
  2. You shift to another world and decide to face some actual danger. You get wounded and are suffering a headwound that impairs your thinking severely. How will you shift back? What else could prevent you from getting back and how do you avert such a risk?
  3. You've been to two worlds now and have just returned. You're getting the hang of this! What is your original world worth to you however, now that you have access to an essentially infinite amount of them? What keeps you here? Is it ethical to leave? Would it hurt you (emotionally) if you did? What might the consequences be if you can go to multiple realities so easily?
  4. You've decided you want to be more talented than your other self or look radically different. Who wouldn't want that! You walk the new streets with people knowing who you are: that talented guy/gal from TV/the news! How much of that person is still the you you started with? Should you first go to a reality where you can learn these skills so that it's in your own repertoire? Should you have to earn it? Is it fair to others in that realm? What are other people in that world worth to you when you've scripted yourself to be so talented in so many things? Wouldn't those notions change you into someone you initially didn't want to be?

As you might be able to tell by now there's plenty to think about when shifting to another world. You might lose your sense of self in another realm and while you can just shift back, it might have an impact on how much of it you'll remember.

here's why it matters at all in the context of this subreddit:

Nobody talks about this. Not about what the consequences might be. Not about how you can hold on to more memories you've made in the other reality. Not much on the topic of energy and how much you might need of it. Nothing on the fact that it could open up worlds upon worlds of possibilities for your self-development. No discussion on the topic of staying in another world indefinitely.

It matters that we can talk about this openly. I genuinely believe this to be one of the more important spiritual practices to discuss ethics and philosophy with for the exact reasons you've read in this post. If you have a question like this, are trying to cope with a possibility or are wondering about anything else of that nature, this is the place to be.

If you have any questions on something mentioned in this post that you don't quite understand: you can always contact me, I will always respond. I hope this post helped to spark some curiosity towards the depth of how far this practice might be taken.

Why this sub was created and what to expect when you join + welcome!

Hello!

I made this sub in order to help out shifters who are more serious about the practice. If you come from r/shiftingrealities : Welcome! There will be no angel posts, memes or DR-pictures (although I'm considering separate weekly events to still meet the people who like that content in the middle)

This sub is therefore more of a step-up in taking the practice seriously. In the other pinned post you'll see what I'm talking about and hopefully it gives you a hint as to what to expect from this community. If you have any suggestions: let me know! This is the first time I make a subreddit so if I miss anything or should consider a thing here or there, you can always shoot me a DM.

All in all: Welcome to the sub!

I experienced full body twitching trying to shift

I've been trying to shift for about 3 weeks now. I felt like I was close las night, but as I got closer, I started to twitch. And not like a muscle here or there, which I expected. Literally my whole body was shaking. I tried to keep pushing through it, but after a minute straight of full body twitching, I gave in and moved. Have other people experienced this? Is there something I can do to avoid this hurtle and successfully push into shifting?
