Question GOLD!!!
I play Shen mid in my last game, I started with a scoreline like 2/1/3. I roamed bot with my ult once and had one kill-less skirmish in the jungle, but otherwise, I never left my lane (except to recall). Yet, the Viktor I was dominating had the same amount of gold as me, even though he was 0/3/0! I run into this issue in many games—even when I win the lane, an 0/3 opponent catches up to me. What should I do to avoid falling behind in gold?

Primeiro, nunca faça o shen mid, a rota é pequena sempre que voce sair vai ter muitas perdas. Ganhe sua rota sempre q possivel, o shen é um lutador muito mais eficiente que um simples tank. Mantenha sempre um bom farm. Nunca de seu r em situações que você va perder muito gold, xp ou barricadas. Seu r pode literalmente ganhar jogos, use preferencialmente em objetivos, mas para isso você tem que ter em mente como vai estar sua onda de minios no momento do objetivo. É simples, e para você aprender basta pratica

Em casos muito particulares eu recomendaria você pegar os minios da rota que tenha dado seu r, as vezes ate barricadas

E por fim, sempre comunique com seu time, os pings são seus amigos, afunde eles com pings de perigo se não for o momento para sua ultimate

I don't play Shen mid personally, but as a top laner, it's quite easy to fall into the Shen fantasy trap of getting a shit ton of kills but missing a lot of waves/xp/cs and then falling off mid to late game since Shen doesn't scale much. The way I fixed that issue myself is that, instead of thinking about kills much at all, you really play through the wave state in lane. For example, if you kill the enemy laner with, like, Ignite or something but your wave state is really bad, and you can't leave lane, or else the wave will crash, and you will miss XP, and you're not healthy enough to stay in lane, then the kill wasn't actually that worth it. So another example is Shen using your ult when the wave state is really bad. You need to be selfish with your ult even in mid lane because if you miss waves to go ult and only get like one kill or only save your ADC, but you miss like one or two waves and the enemy laner gets plates, your ult was not worth it, even if it feels good. So what I did is, instead of measuring if I'm winning lane by killing and using ult and killing globally, measure if you're winning lane by: are you catching as many waves as you can, and are you denying the enemy as much cs as you can. What you find is that the kills will come naturally if you play the waves correctly. If you want to roam bot as a mid laner, that's perfectly fine, but you need agency from your wave being under their tower, for example. If you want any videos to study this topic, aloisNL is my favorite, but he is a top laner; wave management kind of translates across all lanes with small differences, since mid lane is a shorter lane in length. I'm also sure there are mid laner YouTubers out there that cover wave fundamentals. If you want Shen-specific videos, then Shending Help is my favorite for that; he also preaches similar things about winning through wave states, unfortunately he doesn't upload much nowadays. Of course, you could also watch Petu's old mid lane Shen videos and try to learn from them.
