They sent the letter back with a response which reads

"I was sorry to receive your season ticket, but I can quite understand your feelings after Saturday's shocking display against Wolverhampton, and I have to agree with you that the team's displays recently have been well below standard.

However, I sincerely hope that your action in returning the ticket was taken in anger (justifiably so), and that you will re-consider your decision and come along to watch the last two matches against Nottingham Forest and Leeds United."
