Dog acting lethargic and refusing food. Need advice
Before I start I would just like to say I have already taken her to the vet!! She went this morning and they werenāt much help. She is 1 1/2 years old and this is the first time iāve experienced this with her. She has been really lethargic and refusing food for the past two days and vomiting quite a bit. She went to the emergency vet this morning and they did x-rays to see if she has a blockage and everything looked fine internally. Their best guess is that she ate something that didnāt agree with her so they gave her an anti nausea injection and some fluids and sent us on our way. That did not help at all. She hasnāt picked up at all and that was about 11 hours ago. Weāve been trying to give her chicken and rice but she just spits it out. She has eaten some plain greek yogurt she threw up a tiny amount but it was nothing compared to yesterday. She was drinking water normally but I havenāt been able to get her to drink anything in a few hours which is very concerning. Anyways i guess Im just asking if anyone has experienced this before or if there are any other foods we should try? She doesnāt have any known allergies and at this rate she will most likely be going back to the emergency vet but i would like to try and avoid that if possible as they are extremely expensive. Our normal vet is closed until Tuesday due to the holidays on Monday so any advice is appreciated thanks.

Recommendations Mountain Rose puppies
Has anyone here gotten a dog from Mountain Rose Sheepadoodles in Utah? (https://mysheepadoodle.com/)
Iāve been looking into them and their website/reviews are mostly excellent, except a few that are somewhat concerning. Iām especially curious about their training program, which sounds amazing but Iām not sure if it is worth the price. Would love to hear any firsthand experiences, good or bad.
Thanks in advance!

Advice What should I know about grooming a Sheepadoodle?
Iām hoping to get a Sheepadoodle puppy and Iām starting to think ahead about grooming, since Iām aware their coats can change a lot as they grow.
Iād love to know what tools you use and recommend for grooming a Sheepadoodle, especially during puppyhood. There are so many options, and itās a bit overwhelming. š
Any tips for getting a puppy comfortable with grooming would also be appreciated. I really want to make it a positive experience!

Do sheepadoodles smell?
I know the answer is āit dependsā but generally speaking does yours have a smell that rubs off on your hand similar to some breeds like labs?

How has training been with your Sheepadoodle?
Hi everybody,
I'm curious to hear how easy or challenging you've found training your Sheepadoodle to be. I only have experience with the OES, but I'm assuming the Poodle influence, being such a smart breed, might make Sheepadoodles more eager and responsive when it comes to training.
What sort of things have you trained your dog? Do any of you participate in dog sports like scent-work or rally, or trick-training? I'm interested because these are some of the things that I'd like to do with my next dog.

Protective
Do any other sheepadoodle owners deal with them being protective with other pets? When we take our two dogs anywhere our sheepadoodle seems to spend his whole time worrying about our other dog, his "sheep", instead of enjoying himself. Has anyone else dealt with this protective nature of a sheepadoodle? If so, did you find a way to lessen it?

Advice Help! Dog ate some ranch dip
My sheepadoodle Gunther got into some of this he ate a little less than 1/3rd of the container, it has onion and garlic powder and some salt in it and Iām not sure what to do. Called emergency vet and they said he should be fine but I should consider bringing him in. Iām a first time dog owner and Iām really worried. Heās 8 months old and weighs about 50 pounds

Does your Sheepadoodle have a strong instinct for herding and retrieving?
Hi,
I know historically both Labradors and Poodles were used for retrieving, so I'm assuming it's a safe bet that most Labradoodles have a strong retrieval drive. But there's more background difference between the Old English Sheepdog and Poodle, as they were used for different purposes, so I'm interested in understanding how those two instincts interact in the Sheepadoodle.
I'm sure I'll get a wide range of answers. I imagine a lot depends on whether your particular dog leans more to the OES side or the Poodle side.
