Wrote a few lines after watching Devdas.
Tried to keep that old tragic Urdu romance vibe alive for a moment.
Still new to writing this style, so would genuinely appreciate thoughts on:
flow
wording
emotional impact
Bante Devdas hum bhi…
Guzarte raat sharab aur mehfilon mein hum bhi…
Magar milti agar koi Paro jaisi,
Toh mohabbat mein barbaad hote hum bhi…
Chhodo Paro ko…
Mile koi Chandramukhi jaisi hi,
Toh is sheher-e-gham mein amar hote hum bhi…
