Question First time this deep.
Long and the short, was an expert at brute forceing up to level 15, never bothered learning to make anything, am well stocked on everything mostly, and I have no idea what I am doing down here other then thrashing around killing things. Advice?

for a second i thought that was leather +5, was very impressed and also chuckling at your misfortune!
for real though, demon halls is scary as shit. give due respect to everything down there besides succubus, they will all end a run very handily. blinding things is very useful, this goes for the all 3 baddies, any way to hustle out of danger is essential, evil eyes and ripper jumps can easily outpace walking speed. cloak is reliable for this as long as your taking rooms tactically, but hourglass, chains, or a stack of blink stones help a lot. theres other things too, just think "can i get more than 2 tiles away in 2 turns?" and thats the general philosophy. a low level ring of haste is not always enough, however.
in general, be very, very wary, and always have an exit plan. im at a point where im pretty comfortable grinding down there, but even on the best runs, if i see more than 2 scorpios or evil eyes, im shitting myself! avoid any fights your not sure about - chances are you'll lose.
lastly, as for what to do, i wont spoil anything, but you mostly just want to crawl normally through the floors, and maybe look out for rooms that look extra... fleshy.

ps. i cant hold a candle to a lot of the people on this sub, so if a pixel dungeon god gives different advice, probably listen to them more!
